| Various Government Independent Study Projects Check your syllabus for due dates for each of the following projects. Most studies will be accompanied by a test or quiz. Check your syllabus for due dates. World Geography 1. Locate & identify the location of places indicated on your map lists. An accompanying set of maps will be given to you as PRACTICE. Quizzes are listed on your syllabus If you print this list, be sure to copy and paste the typing into a word document or else you will delete some of the places. Public Meetings Due: By the End of the Government Semester 1. You will attend one public government meeting before the end of the semester. 2. Takes notes on the provided worksheet to turn in to me by the end of the semester. National & State Symbols 1. Use the accompanying worksheet to identify the various state and national symbols as well as any pertinent background characteristics. Public Officials Use the accompanying list to indicate: 1. Name of the person currently in office 2. Home state (Where applicable) 3. Political party (Where applicable) Presidents Record the following in a table format: 1. Name of President * 2.
