What a long, strange, day in Bell Buckle, TN.
We discovered that on our geocoin were coordinates for a cache. And they'd put out two others. AND when we went into the museum, the Florida geocachers had a cache that had been through a fire and which was archived, but we could log it. (I'm guessing "it's not about the numbers" will now think we've found a Florida cache.) I bought an ammonite geocoin, and won a Bell Buckle one for wearing my hat. Rich bought some Rite-in-the-Rain paper.
At lunchtime I handed a wooden nickel to a little boy, and he got all excited, so from then on I was looking for children to hand them to. The parents liked it, too.
It ended at 6, and we went back to the motel. I had hopes that maybe someone else would be looking for the one we couldn't find first yesterday, and we could finally see it. No one was there, but we decided to give it just One More Try, and sure enough, the minute we got out of the car, another group of 3 geocachers came by, too. And one of them found it, how come we missed it?? Nice to get that one off our list!
At 10, there was a big geocoin swap. Too crowded, too noisy.
Just ask Don Surber:
Question: Is Barack Obama deliberately trying to wreck the economy or is he just doing it out of ignorance?Answer: That will be the question for historical debate once he leaves. But he is doing a fine job wrecking domestic production of oil.
Question: How is his Europeanization of the United States going?
Answer: The New York Times reported, In April, the rate in the United States rose to 8.9 percent. When the European figures are compiled, it seems likely that the American rate will be higher for the first time since Eurostat began compiling the numbers in 1993.
The Germans could not kill Walter Gibson. But Britains National Health Service was up to the task.

Free health care: It is not worth a dime and it costs way too much.
