May 13: Roaster Raves

"I am behind President Bush’s war on terrorists," writes my good friend Paul Willis from Pahrump, Nevada. "But the only way I will stand behind him is if he kicks some terrorist a**, and I mean now. Friends and family are over there. Playing patty-cake will not cut it. We can put in Kerry to do that. Release the hounds and apologize later."--- Chuck Muth.

I've been playing with my new George Foreman roaster since I got home. I tried one of the casserole kits, and it came out a little watery, so next time instead of a cup of water, I will add 3/4 cup. It's so small the water doesn't evaporate away. The kit was good anyway, and the kitchen didn't heat up. Then yesterday I did a roast, with potatoes and carrots. Yummmmm. Today I roasted potatoes plain in it. Yummmm again. I will be using it tomorrow or (more likely) Saturday on a chicken, and we'll see how that goes. It's easy to clean, too. I really like this new toy!

Strengthen the Good.

Heh. Air America. Jarvis also writes about Rummy.

Bush has a secret weapon... and it's the media.

Like the late Eighteenth Century French aristocrats dancing and dining at Versailles, the media elites party away, valuing only the opinions of those who have been invited to the ball. All others are dismissed as crude, hate-filled, stupid, uneducated, and unworthy, if not outright Nazis. Blissfully unaware that the American people actually care about winning the war we are in, they sneer in the faces of those they deem mere peasants. They are taking with them most of the Democratic Party, which has tragically embraced goal of winning the next election as more important than winning the way for national and cultural survival.

Glenn thinks they're misunderestimating Bush again.

Hugh Hewitt on Leaky Leahy.

There's ONE Nevada senator with sense!

Spanish troops.

Yay Purdue!

Polipundit on the Raddled Old Drunk. Then there's this comment: "As I've always said, Kerry is Kennedy minus the booze and the bridge......"

Traitors. The only appropriate word.

Nick Berg? Abu Ghraib?
