ZERO GRAVITY

When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ball-point pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 300 C.

The Russians used a pencil.

We went out in the morning to Elverta and picked up two multi-caches which were fun. One is at the Ueda parkway. We didn't see many birds today, because it was so hot.

We came back, puttered around, had a late lunch, watched tapes, and I got online. I submitted BIT X (Rich's easy-to-find series which is very popular) and looked at other things, and then decided it was time to post our two finds. What's this?? A new cache near here! So I logged off and we ran out... when we were down the street I looked at the machine in my hand for the coordinates... what's this? The VCR remote!! Oops. We were first to find here, (by about a half hour... it went up and we found it about 10 minutes later.) Obsessed? US???

Kerry must convince me that he will fully and wholeheartedly fight the war that we are in right now. So far, he's failed to convince me that he even realizes we're in a war, let alone that he'll bother to fight it.
