Rainy and cold today. There's no caching for us... I'd hoped to head north along Watt and pick up all the new ones up that way. Oh, well.

I was ready to put in another self-recorded tape to see it and free it up, for Survivor(!), and lo, the eject doesn't work. I couldn't find the panel on the machine. Rich looked in the manual, which as it's a "DDV" machine, had me thinking was the manual for the DVD. Once you push the button on the panel, tapes eject, but the remote won't do it any more.

I enjoyed The Cooler, even though it has that creep Alec Baldwin, who promised to leave the country if Bush was elected, so why is he here. He was good in his part, and William H. Macy was wonderful in his. I liked this movie despite all the cliches.
