*and once more, I say sigh.
Never give up, Never surrender.--from "Galaxy Quest", which we watched tonight. I'd seen it before with my dwarf, but Rich hadn't seen it.
We've been having computer fun, both of us. Mine has been busy claiming my C drive is full (it's because it doesn't dump the temp internet files) so today I tossed my cookies. Then I was rebuilding, and when I got to Blogger, I discovered that if you log in again, it treats you like new. Therefore, I can't reach my first blog or the nature one and since the customer service there is, uh, poor, I've started a third, but of course, it "is not ready to publish." It's worth every penny I'm paying for it.
Meanwhile, Rich logged on and forgot to log off, so he ran up 2 hours and 35 minutes. In total today we were on 7.5 hours. This is the beginning of our month, and I knew I'd be online too much with election stuff, so we have three weeks to lose the 5:19 we're over. (On 30 day months, I figure we can use 5 hours a day, and I try to get a 5 hour cushion, so we're actually 10:19 over. I've gotta start being real careful. This around uploading Ofoto albums!)
We'd had the third-longest dry spell in history, 168 days, so it's a thrill to see a record-breaking rain of 1.74"! The wind, however, was a different matter.
I picked Casey up at school and the kid was running a 102 fever. That's one way to maintain good behavior! We played computer games on my laptop at the library. I'm just as glad the weather didn't allow anything more strenuous anyway.
Heee! Daschle is "very disappointed" about Gephardt. I'm laughing because I've never heard Disappointed Daschle use any other wording.
ObGoe: the weather. I think about the Tree, getting covered with snow, and the ashes combining with the earth. He's probably happy. He loved the snow, and he loved to ski.
