Name and email address: Denny Waller [email protected] Age: 36 Marital status: Single Employment/businesses: Medical Laboratory Sciences, currently between jobs and considering returning to college: MS in Computer Science or Guidance and Counseling Hobbies or interests: Reading, fishing, biking, independent movies, and transformation Landmark courses taken: Forum, Breakdown Seminar, Adv Course, CAP, and CPP, also took a non-LM course arranged by TMLP member (This got me attuned to my own awareness; the course instructor asked us, "What are you present to now?" Having one's attention called to one's self, one's own experience was liberating and self-revealing. And this was essentially the jist of the whole course. I realized how much time I was directing my awareness outside myself (Thinking about the future or the past or worrying about it, trying to figure it out, etc. , even after having taken most of LM's courses!) instead of just enjoying the experience of being myself! Assisted: precourse calls, several Forums, and an Advanced course How you would like to see the world transformed: News media that actually informs us. World Link Television (375 on Direct TV) is an excellent alternate source of information. Books you've read: Dr Wayne Dwyer's "Your Erroneous Zones", Stephen King's "On Writing" - you'll understand some of why he wrote certain stories., Dean Koontz's "Icebound" and Manufacturing Consent by Noam Chomsky (An excellent and disturbing expose on how we are effectively "managed" by certain influences effecting mass media. Books you recommend and why: Dr Wayne Dwyer's "Your Sacred Self" for his analogy of the mind as a pond, Manufacturing Consent by Noam Chomsky (BOOK or TV program - often shown on World Link Televison) - you'll wake up to the mass media as never before. Something that is going on in your life or something coming up: Ongoing employment search and evaluation of returning to college. Something you would like to try doing but have not done: Being a life coach for others as a career. How Landmark's education has impacted your life: It has made me realize that I can adjust my perceptions of myself and the world around me in ways that reward and empower me!! YEA!! What you hope to get out of joining this community: Communication and sense of community with fellow graduates committed to ongoing transformation in their lives and the lives of others. My mission: Participation in the work of world transformation and in building an online community to further it. One of your possibilities: Who I am is the possilibity of world transformation... and THAT'S who I am. |
