Imprisonment
Well how about it folks isnt it just so great how our society and many others alike  love to ruin so many peoples lives. People corraled up like animals in a small room with bars and locks. Its great isnt it? Well i can now tell you from experience that its not a great thing. Being locked up does nothing to so called "rehabilitate" the individual. In fact prisons create more problems for the person and the society. The first evidence of this is the sociological, cultural transmission theory. It suggests that if you were to hang around the same group of people for a long period of time you would pick up their behavioral traits despite your own behavior previous to the encounter. This can be vouched for due to the many people I came in contact with, that had been locked away for long periods of time all had a certain type of character trait that portrayed them to be hardened, ignorant, predictable specimens of humans. Getting back to my main point I must say that people who get locked up over stupid things such as drugs or false imprisonment now come out acting with a different callous attitude towards the society they once veiwed as just and supportive. They adopt the ideas and attitudes they learn and thus end up back in the jail they should never have been in the first place. The fact that humans take other humans out of the freedom of the world and palce them into a restricting cell sickens me.   Another thing is that people even capitalize off the restriction of freedom. People who guard prisoners make more money than those who provide an actual good service to the society. So many human rights are taken away from the individual just because they didnt corresponde to a certain law. Its horrible.
