Fortune Ocean Hardware & Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is incorporated on 28 February 1984 as Hsiang Yao Sdn. Bhd.  On 12 July 1991, its name is changed to Fortune Ocean Hardware & Engineering Sdn. Bhd. to reflect the major activities of the company.

Our Company has good track record in the supply of specialized materials to the oil and gas companies, public utilities and factories.  We have ample experience in emergency deliveries which is especially most critical to the oil and gas industries.  (Kindly refer Appendix A attached for our list of clients).

We hold important agencies in Tuffco welding products, Hilti fastening tools and products, Personal Safety Protection and equipment and consumables; blasting product (sand & grit), Technotex lifting belts, sling wire and related products, pumps, power tools, air tools and equipment and consumables; Nippon protective paints, lifting slings, shackles and equipment and many others.

-  Graduated in University of Hawaii’s prominent school of Travel Industry Management with Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

-   Director of Hocknion Development Sdn. Bhd.  Central Builders Sdn. Bhd.

-   Over 24 years business & working experience.

(c)    Christopher Chong (Tools Supervisor)

    - Christopher has vast knowledge and experience in tools (air and electrical).

(d)   Ponguang Ak Buda (Sales Manager /Director)

- Always ready at our sales centre to assist your procurement and recommend your hardware needs.

-   Shareholder and Director.

Company’s Share Equity and Details of Management & Staff

For your information, our Company’s share equity is 64% owned by Bumiputra and balance 36% is owned by Non-Bumiputra.

Our Agency Lines

More than 17 agency lines including Proguard Safety Items, Technotex Lifting Belts, Webbing slings and round slings.  Hilti fasteners and power tools, Bosch Power tools, Crosby fittings, Tuffco cutting and grinding dics – all used and approved in MLNG3.

We have successfully supplied to key projects in Bintulu which include the following :
