A
WEEK IN ST. ANDREWS
So here is my experiment in all its glory. Plenty of warning signs on the door going into it as the laser is powerful enough to do a lot more serious and long-term damage than a pointy stick could to your eye.

I like the experiment as it has plenty of dials and buttons to fiddle with. Sadly it is lacking in bells and whistles and as the afternoon went on I found it lacking on the ability to give any results whatsoever. I did try the last part of the experiment where i was supposed to use a special optical element in the path of the laser beam to allow me to rotate some calcite crystals but that didn't work either. Sigh.
So after the excitement of lab it was off home for a spiffing Tesco economy pork pie for tea before heading off to Link Group for the evening. The topic for the night was relationships and the palms of my hands were positively sweaty with excitement at the prospect!!
Something in the discussion has seemingly taken Janet and Holly's fancy.... |
It's probably the delicious cake and other goodies being prepared at the kitchen counter. We always seem to have good food at Link Group. And good coffee. |
And Irish Lass seems to be having a good time. |
Young Pete and Jayne seem to have taken today's discussion on board rather well! Keep it up guys! |
Anyway so after an exciting (and very late finishing) Link Group it was off home to do some more writing up of my LED experiment and then to bed for sweet and pleasant dreams. Ahhhhhhhhhhh.
TOMORROW: tu' nab.... ghaj vIH And the disgraceful tale of the theft of the Christmas tree. Honestly, some Christians give the CU a bad name!
