Published 1997    Page Count 17    Price £1.00 (UK)

A cover by George Morgan, strip work by Martin McVay and myself, not forgetting two fantastic text stories, which makes it a bit of a shame this issue never made it to more than about four people!  However all the stories will be available on the new fiction section soon.

Battlezone continues the main TOC story and is followed by 3rd part which sets the scene for the main story in the upcoming TOC issue.  From what I've gathered after being out of the loop for a while is that Martins stunning artwork was published in an issue of Chris Lawtons Holiday Special a while back as well as in this issue. It was also reprinted in the recent TOC: Special Edition.  Part 3 had my first attempts at computer lettering.

The Living Shadow is set back before the war in the city-state of Vos.  A lot of the inner workings of Vos' rulers are revealed.  One of the rulers becomes so obsessed with his master, Starscream, that he turns himself into a clone of him.  Starscream is none too pleased...

In Junk Division it is shown that both sides of the War recycled dead comrades in order to repair living ones or to create new warriors, but things take a potentially deadly turn when the Autobots recycle a dead Decepticon with only a few modifications.  The recycled individual doesn't realise it at consciously, but he and Optimus Prime have a score to settle.
