Transformers: Tales of Cybertron

Destiny (Prologue)

Graham Waters

Cybertron, many thousands of years ago...

In the burned out city state of Res-Syn, there lies a place far below the war torn streets where darkness has reigned for countless years.  Only the faint hum of energon shackles keeps silence from taking its rightful place next to the darkness and a faint grim voice then speaks.

"They left me alone, to die, but I cannot, I must not... die.  For my God has shown me my destiny, for a prophecy of the future has been foretold; A storm shall come bringing holy thunder and in its wake, those who left... me... shall return.  For in the future lies my destiny, you are my destiny, just as I am your destiny, Optimus Prime!  They left me... alone... why?"

Abruptly the voice ends, leaving the continual, everlasting hum of energon shackles.  The dim glare then flickers and dies, only darkness remains...
