Better again this time (if you don't think so, let me know). The Cyberformation page had the same layout as the previous issue and I didn't write everything in it, so at last some quality!!! Profit Motive featured an abortive attack on the Autobots headquarters. Xaaron appeared to have advance knowledge of the attack and ordered Fortress Maximus to take a squad of Autobots to defend an unattacked area of the base. Sure enough, Scorponok launches an attack in that area, but is defeated by Max and his team. Later Xaaron reveals that he has been buying Decepticon battle plans at a price Max finds too high. In Polyhex Straxus buys the next instalment of Scorponoks plans, including information on where Scorponok himself will be. Couple of glitches in this issue, 1) Fort Max can't decide on which side of his hand, his thumb belongs on and 2) Springer appears, although he isn't built for another few million years. At the start of the story Max has the 'hit me' note from the previous issue in his hand. Dreams is a story describing a possible future for the Transformers. The War is long gone, thousands of years in the past. The Autobots have rebuilt Cybertron and the rest of the galaxy, but a new and terrible plague emerges, threatening to turn their hard fought victory into a very hollow one. Carrying on the story begun in Technicality (from #1) is Computerised. Scorponok has salvaged (amongst other things), combination technology from Shockwaves personal computer aboard Nemesis, the Decepticon flagship, in orbit round the Earth. He tests his own version of the technology on the Technobots. When the results prove positive, he alters the Terrocons so that they can merge into Abominus. Computrons subsequent escape misleads Scorponok about the raw power Abominus will have, a mistake which proves very dangerous when Abominus fought Predaking in TOC #5. |
