ShesMagikal weds!

April 16, 2002

"We got married on the 16th out at the Fisgard Lighthouse.
It is the oldest (and operable) lighthouse in British Columbia.
We were married by a marriage commissioner and had three
of his military friends there, it was small, but really nice. The
spot that we chose was right on the cliff overlooking the
bay, the air was crisp and the view...breathtaking."

"We stayed out at Cordova Bay at a bed and breakfast and were sooooo spoiled there!
The owners were really neat, the wife is a local artist and shows her art at the museum
in Victoria, she also teaches during the week. Her husband owned a restaurant for years
before he bought the B&B. We had 5 course breakfasts and on our wedding night he
brought us down to drink real german schnapps and made us a fabulous dinner."

"We stayed there for 4 nights and then went up Island to Mount Washington.
We stayed at a chalet on the mountain that overlooked the glacier. I think
I stayed in the hot tub the whole time! I got snowballs thrown at me and
my face rubbed in the snow...hahaha....it was a blast!. Then finally we
stayed on the base in for the next couple of days."

"During the time we were in Victoria we also got our house, we are in a townhouse
in a really nice military neighborhood. He is working hard to get it ready for when
we move up in June after the kids finish school. I will be attending the University
of Victoria next year to finish the rest of my BA in pre-law. Ill be the oldest lawyer
alive but who cares?! So Ill throw my dentures at the judge and get held in a geriatric
unit for contempt...hahahaha....yea right, Im gonna make as much money as I can
so I can shrivel up on a beach in the Caribbean!"

Our best wishes to the bride and groom. May peace follow you throughout your lives.
