Deas Vail has now played at The Attic several times and I can't say that I've been to a venue where the owner put so much effort into the building, his crew, and the equipment. Brandon does a really great job keeping it all together. The venue is very intimate but don't think that means the PA isn't loud. And the PA has continuously been kept up and improved upon. It is very impressive to see a venue maintain and keep up with their equipment. Having a consistent sound guy and separate stage manager is big plus, no surprise funky buzzes or anything like that. And you never hear foul or harsh language from any of the crew. I mean, sometimes you wonder why people would work somewhere if they hate it so much!?!? At The Attic, everyone works together as a team. And they all are really happy about it. Which makes for a much smoother show. The mixing of genres on the bill is always great. Brandon definitely picks bands with care and keeps it well within reason when putting locals along with touring acts. Lastly, Brandon has always been very kind and swift about the guarantee. I wish I could say the same for many other venues we have played. We have spent upwards of 30-45 minutes waiting around at venues for the money to be counted. While it might not be right off of I-40, The Attic is a great stop for touring acts. Reuben Deas Vail The Kneeling Nations played there first show on February 3, 2006 at The Attic, and to say it was fun was a understatement. We loved playing at The Attic! From the way it is operated, to the staging and sound the whole idea and motivation behind The Attic is awesome! You can't go to many other places and get the same sound from there PA. You can tell the difference because The Attic keeps up with there equipment very well. Also what we loved about playing The Attic were the people and friendly staff. It was a very welcoming environment, not like you find in most venues. In all The Attic is a great place and we loved playing there we hope to do it again soon. Louis The Kneeling Nations The Attic is always such a comfortable environment to play in. There is a lot of positive energy circulating through that place. I feel like I can let my guard down when I'm there and just relax unlike other venues around. It's excting to see how much that place is going to grow in the next six months. Joe Max Dreading Sundown The Attic is quickly becoming one of the most popular places in the world. Ok maybe just in Arkansas but it'll be there soon. When you think of Hot Springs Arkansas, most would certainly not picture good music and a thriving scene, but The Attic brings both to life and more than it ever has been before. With a LOUD system, comfortable atmosphere, and friendly service(?), The Attic is sure to make you want to stay there...forever. Joel Taylor After The Tragedy The Attic rocks. Its just that simple. This is a rare breed of venue that actually makes you feel like they want your band to be there. From a prayer with all the bands before the show to the friendly attention to mic/amp needs, The Attic proved to be one of the best places to play in Arkansas. Its hard for small bands to play venues in other cities, but the folks at The Attic made us feel right at home, as though it was our local venue. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at The Attic and look forward to more such experiences. Jordan Pulling Thorns 3:16 has performed at The Attic on three occasions and it has gotten better on each visit. Brandon goes the distance to insure everything happens according to plan and the staff is courteous and professional. The patrons are of all ages and make the bands feel welcome no matter if you play classic rock, modern rock or even screamo. We have personally enjoyed playing The Attic and plan to keep doing so as long as possible. So, if you are a Christian band looking for another venue to play, then The Attic is a place you should definitely look in to. Dave Harvey Guitarist 3:16 3:16 The Attic has given me, as a musician, 2 of the greatest show experiences in my life. Now The Attic is only 1 of 2 venues that I've actually played at. But let me tell you this, I have many hours of recording experience under my belt, and an ear for quality and The attic has the best PA setup and sound that I have come across. Whether or not it was on stage or off. They have both a roomy stage and floor that can pack about 300 people for some of the best local and National bands around. Concession is always in stock and the crew is always friendly. Not to mention that they always go out of their way to make you feel at home, and make your performance the best one yet. So Fans go hear the bands, and Bands... go get booked! Daniel Williams The Red Letter Edition I love u guys @ The Attic. You have really awesome shows there. I came when Showbread was there on the Kings of Krunk Tour and it was super duper awesome! Bailey Showgoer I just want to thank Brandon Runion for suporting the music scene in Hot Springs. I met Brandon playing at shows together with FOR THE PUBLC and I must say if you didn't see them you missed out. He had always talked about getting a venue open in Hot Springs and while JC (Dust Forth) and i threw in ideas Brandon made it happen. I thank him for giving the youth a place to go and see some awsome bands! Dust Forth played their very last show there with a much needed farewell show from FOR THE PUBLIC. The show was great and was filled with many memories. We've made so many friends because of Dust Forth and also because of places like THE ATTIC, giving us a chance to play our music in front of the teens of Hot Springs. Theres always a good crowd no matter the night and the atmosphere is great! So thanks ATTIC and i look forward to being there with my new band! Jon Terauchi Victoria Falls |
