| IDEALISTS | ||||
| Idealists are (I think) the most complex by far, of the four types. Thier thoughts feelings etc. are complex; idealists can understand symbolism easily and live life with a passion. Idealists are deep persons and trust their feelings and intuition greatly. When idealists are relating to others they often find it hard to inderstand the shallowness of their comrades, especially when involving love relations, idealists can not believe that a person would "go out" with another purely because of their good looks. although some i dealist seem to make bias judgements while associating the two sometimes looking at at physial beauty to represent a beautiful person, thisw can lead to problems. Idealists also do not like to engage in ohysical activities while on a date this is to be kept seperate from their search for love. when on a date idealist like to find a nice, quiet place to sit and talk, and get to know the spiritual side of their potential mate, the face behind the social mask. They are able to go long periods of time if getting to know someone whom they find interesting, other types may grow restless when conversing for long peiriods of time. Idealists being deep and sensitive people may sometime misinterpret an action or phrase given by their partner, being lead to believe that a deep bond exists between the two, where actully, no such thing exists. Idealists will sometimes try to show their appreciation toward others, this is not a joke, although lsome may interpret it as one since some types seem to laugh it off. It may be interpret it as one since some idealists have trouble expressing their love, and express in a laughing matter hoping it will be interpreted and taken seriously by the other. they do this out of a sort of fear that the other person may not feel the same way, and end up humiliating themselves. Idealists sometimes may feel ashamed like they have failed when they try to tell their mate their feelings and are not sure if that person saught on. This can happen generally because of two things , the abstract communiscation of the idealist can lead to misunderstanding since most others are concrete and just dont "get it",the other is that the more shy introverted idealists may be shy about their feelings and show them in an almost joking manner. Idealists have a poetic sense about them and love to feel emotion. sometimes depressed when no intense emotions (of any sort0 have been felt for a while, idealists will try to feel something deeply emotional, even bad feelings can feel good to idealists, after a long period of blandness. Idealists need emotion just as idealists need knowledge or artisans excitement, idealists have a hunger to feel. I know since i have experienced this blandness , hunger for emotion, and joking sense when expressing emotion toward others. Idealists are "people people," through and through. they are some of the most morally coordinated, examples; Gandhi, MLK, Mick Miller. They are the first interested in utopias, and society, the first to wonder, "why cant everyone just get along?". they are the last to argue and fight, being more diplomatic than any of the other types they would really rather discuss they arguement and the insignificanceof a fight, and, and put away differences and try to find common ground with this person whom, the friction is occuriring with. Idealists may feel alienated from the rest of the world (especially from artisans, their opposites) other types seem to be more excited and less serious, or else to occupied with what others think of them (the artisans and guardians) they may wonder how these people can be so abusing and cruel toward others,mostly the guardians who seem to discrimate against anyone seeming a little out of the ordinary or someone who it may not be popular to like. becuase they are to occupied with what others may think of them that they try to hard to gain respect or popularity, which they are very concerned with. they like to have approval of everyone and will actually not give up their own veiws. because their veiws always seem to be the same as the majority group immediatley surrounding them. but i guess just go along with others veiws as they move, suddnely having a new set of morals depending on what group they are present in. Idealists are one of the two abstract groups, they think and understand things that cannot be touched or seen. this makes them and rationals compared to others. off drifting off into deep thought about life, morality, science, and other other subjects not considered by most. Idealists will often try to find analogies between things that they see, and there own lives and its meaning. Like Brennan said, they make walk into a room and see a crookedly hung picture frame and "ponder the situations metaphoric symbolism towards [them] life and the cosmic whole." Idealists are very spiritual, the self searching type. they are interested religion at a very early age in life and might not go to church because they have to go but because they want to go, since they are always intersted in self-actuallization and the meaning of life. Tehy want to know the meaning of life and come to a spiritual understanding of it. They are non-discriminative towards others veiws and actually like to hear others thoughts on subjects to possibly help come to a better understanding of themselves or just to learn about others. Idealists will listen to any veiw held by people just to heat and consider this judgement. Even if they do not agree with the veiw being exspressed they like to hear the reasoning held behind them and and understand the moral sense. ~BACK~ |
