Mix ingredients to form a stiff dough. You may need to add more cinnamon, depending on the amount of liquid in your applesauce. Roll out dough and use cookie cutters to cut out Christmas shapes. Use a straw to poke a hole in the top of the ornament. It may take several days for the ornaments to completley dry. It might help to gently flip the ornaments over to aid in drying the backs. Hang with metallic cord or red ribbon.

    Activities:
Christmas Cards. I found a set of color your own cards, with stickers, and had the girls make them for their friends. They had a blast!
Email Santa You choose a stamp, put in your information, choose a goodie to send to Santa, and before your very eyes Santa will email you back! The letters are personalized, different for every child, and age appropriate (even for me...and I put in my real age!). We all loved it, and the letters are printable!
    Christmas Mazes from Kids Domain
Painting christmas ornaments. I found a pack of plastic ornaments that you paint at Dollar Tree. We will be putting them on suction cup hooks and hanging them in the window instead of on the tree.
Make Christmas cookies! Wether you mix the dough yourself or buy the "place and bake" kind, nothing beats warm Christmas cookies and hot cocoa!
Write a Chritmas story on themed writing paper. Go to: DLTK-Cards you choose the picture, you choose the line width.
Make reindeer food. 1 cup quick oats. 1-2 tablespoons of glitter. On christmas eve sprinkle to mixture on the lawn. The magic glitter sparkling in the moon light and the smell of the oats will guid the reindeer right to you house. ***Warning please dont let your children eat the mix afer it is made for the glitter may cause gastrointestial problems.*** (Idea sent in by Homepreschool and Beyond Yahoogroup member)
