The music of Fortaleza (Spanish for Fortress or Citadel, meaning also Inner Strength)
is inspired by the ancient ruins and the rich musical and cultural heritage
of the Incas, Aymaras, Tiahuanacus and other civilizations that inhabited the
Andean region of South America.

Fortaleza performed music workshops in K-12 schools, and countless presentations
in colleges, universities and festivals throughout the country.

Fortaleza has toured Europe playing at the "Expo Sevilla"
and throughout Spain at festivals organized by the C.I.O.F.F.

They also toured Brazil, Martinique and Ecuador.
In Quito, Ecuador, they shared the stage with the biggest Latin American performers
at the festival "Todas Las Voces Todas"
