HOW THE MONEY IS SPENT
These are some of the items that have been purchased by Home and School in the last two years to help supplement the educational experience of the children of Forrest School.  The Home and School also provides educational assemblies, testing attendance incentives, musical instruments, gym and recess equipment, Science equipment, library books, supplemental classroom materials, etc.  Check it out!!
Created and performed Deal or No Deal as a Family Game Night.
Funded the Classroom Attendance contest in which the top three classes during the months of February through April would receive a trip in May to Briarwood Day Camp for the day.
Raised additional funds so that our Odyssey of the Mind teams can compete in the State Finals competition in Altoona, PA.
Obtained transportation funds from the School District so that our Odyssey of the Mind teams can compete in the State Finals competition in Altoona, PA.
Purchased a top of the line laminator for the entire staff of the school.
Purchased a newly refurbished photocopier for the school.
Have funded and will continue to fund educational and fun-filled assemblies, such as:  YOJO, Prismatic Magic Laser Shows, Phantoms/Flyers, etc.
Got Student Council started with the purchase of pins and shirts for our classroom representatives in 2007.
Purchased additional Math Books for the Math curriculum in 2006-07.
Provided hospitality for our Principal Tea, the Author's Tea, and the special Mother's Day Tea.
Purchased supplies and materials for our Conflict Resolution prep course in 2006-07.
Purchased pretzels and goodies for our lunch time Pretzel and Snack sales; paid our vendors for Cherrydale, Sally Foster, Reindeer Lane, Roller Palace, Mad Science and others throughout the school year 2006-07.
Went "halfies" with the school in purchasing the First in Math computer program in 2006-07.
Purchased a new sound system with 4 remote microphones for the school auditorium in 2006-07.
Purchased violins, trumpets, saxophones, flutes, trombones and music stands for the Instrumental Music program.
Purchased science supplies and a solar scope for the MG Program back in 2004-05.
Purchased supplies for the Nurse and completely funded the Resource Center for our parents that currently exists on the 2nd floor between the Nurse and Counselor offices.
Purchased materials for the 2004-05 Math Prep and Writing Prep.
Funds after-school clubs such as the Art, Cooking with Math and African Dance Clubs.
Funded the entire PEACEFUL "Good Student Behavior" prize program back in 2004-05.
Sponsors and funds one bus for each class per year for field trips.
Purchased a DVD/VCR for the auditorium showing or programs and movies for students.
Funds the Golden Rule "Student Good Character & Behavior" club that is done each year by Ms.Toole with prizes awarded to students.
Have purchased on several occasions those pretzels that everyone gets for free.
Has bought much needed Gym equipment each year.
Purchased Recess Supplies each school year.
Have funded and will continue to fund educational and fun-filled assembly programs to enrich the curriculum at Forrest.  Programs such as:  Yojo, Franklin Institute, Walnut Street Threatre, etc.
Have purchased headphones and mice for the Computer Lab.
Purchases all the student prizes and incentives for PSSA and Terra Nova tests.
Purchases the club T-shirts for Odyssey of the Mind and the Forrest Track team each year.
Pays for the supplies for the Parent Help Desk.
Purchased Robotics kits in 2006 so that it can be taught to our 5th grade students from now on as part of their Science curriculum.  It will also be used for an after-school club,
Purchased in 2005 Calculators for grades 2-5 and also Geometry templates for first grade.  Play activities for Kindergarten were also purchased.
Purchased supplies to effectively run Box Tops contests, starting in 2006-07.
Purchased over $32,000.00 worth of supplemental classroom material for Forrest School in the last 3 years.
Purchased over $3000 in Listening Centers for each and every classroom in 2006. 
Will continue to budget and purchase supplies for our school library and Fast Forward program.
Forrest H&S will continue to organize and use funds for the following programs:
