Piddly, Grablen, and Alteren:

Grablen's Discovery

Back to Main Page

That's the biggest bat I've ever seen!

"That's the biggest bat I've ever seen!" Cried Grablen.

He was becoming increasingly more obese, he thought, while observing himself in a mirror one day. Much later in the day he would realize that this "Bat" he saw was in fact his own reflection.

"Aw well," Said Grablen, grabbing his hip-flask from it's holster. "I'll just swallow my sorrows with a nip of hooch." And with that, he downed the whole thing.

...But just then, Sir Piddly: The Wise and Altogether Powerful Mage of Andromath arrived at Grablen's Dwarf-Hole, wearing a long grey cape and a blue hat, and holding a long wooden staff which he was presently knocking against the door.

He slipped inside and Grablen dashed into the hallway grasping a dagger in his right hand, and he made to lunge at Sir Piddly: The Wise and Altogether Powerful Mage of Andromath, but knowing mostly everything, Piddly: The Wise and Altogether Powerful Mage of Andromath jumped out of the way of Grablen's Dagger of Evil Intentions and Mostly Redundant Thoughts Concerning the Universe in General Redundancy Dagger of Redundancy just in time to dodge the blow from the blade.

"Why would you do such things?!" Cried Piddly the Wise and Altogether Powerful Mage of Andromath.

At that moment, Alteren the Evil and Somewhat Nefarious Guild-Master of Terror and General Feelings of Malice and Hatred, Conjurer of Cheap Tricks as well as Funky but Nonetheless Funny Jokes About Nothing in Particular stepped into the scene, holding an impossibly huge axe that was twice the size of Sir Piddly: the Wise and Altogether Powerful Mage of Andromath.

"You know," Said the Evil Guild-Master.

"I can boot you from the guild if I see fit."

"Damn, you win." Sighed Sir Piddly: The Wise and Altogether Powerful Mage of Andromath.

...But realizing all too late that Alteren the Evil and Somewhat Nefarious Guild-Master of Terror and General Feelings of Malice and Hatred, Conjurer of Cheap Tricks as well as Funky but Nonetheless Funny Jokes About Nothing in Particular had gotten the better of him, Sir Piddly: the Wise and Altogether Powerful Mage of Andromath did the right thing and dashed back to Grablen's now opened door, where he lived happily ever after.
