Walter James Hedges (see Naomi Ruth) was born July 28, 1926. He started work when he was 16 years old for the Ontario Dept of Highways, where he became a surveyor, working in that capacity for over 30 years until his death in April 1973. Walter married Rose Malloy on December 19, 1949. Rose died in 1990.Walter Hedges and Rose Malloy had the following children:
