Raised in Chesterfield County, Virginia, Lowell graduated from Monacan High School in 1983. After high school Lowell held several odd jobs before enrolling an apprenticeship program to become a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) where he completed his apprenticeship to become a journeyman electrician and was a member in good standing of IBEW Local 666. During this same time Lowell was a member of several local bands including The Press, Tropical Johnson and the Jeff McGaul Project. He was an excellent bass guitar player and his love of music was obvious to those who knew him. In May, 1999 he met the love of his life, Kerry. They fell deeply in love and this, too, was obvious to those that knew him. Kerry was his "girl." Along with Kerry came Ben. Lowell was a devoted and loving father figure to Ben. They were "buddies." Lowell is deeply missed and will never, ever be forgotten. |
