JonBenét Patricia Ramsey was born on August 6, 1990 to her parents John and Patsy Ramsey. Her name is rather unusual, and it was Patsy who came up with it; by taking John´s first name and second name (John and Bennett) and make a short version of them, it simply became JonBenét.
JonBenét was just as any other kid; she loved to play with dolls, ride her bike, spend time with her family and friends. Her beautiful smile and her cute little laughter brought joy to everyone around her. Nobody could possibly dislike her! She was very generous and kind, and she would always be the one to cheer you up if you were feeling sad.
JonBenét loved Valentine´s day, as well as Christmas and other holidays. She loved to dress up nicely at such occasions, but otherwise she was actually a tomboy! She would usually put on a pair of jeans-shorts, a comfy t-shirt and have her hair pulled back in a ponytail on regular days. She liked to fool around with her brother, Burke and sometimes tease him too! That's what siblings do, and JonBenét and Burke were no exceptions. JonBenét was a good student in her firstgrade class, and she was loved by her many friends there. The little girl listened attentively to adults talk in the evening, nestled on someone´s lap in a big chair, and her vocabulary and sense of logic were remarkable. When her aunt found her running barefoot on the Charlevoix dock and asked, "Why don't you put your shoes on?" JonBenét answered, "Aunt Pam, I want to feel the rhythm of the earth under my feet". She was a free spirit.
But on Christmas night of 1996, JonBenét was brutally murdered. Strangled to death in the basement of her house in Boulder, the little girl didn't stand a chance against the monster who did it. We need some justice for JonBenét now; We need to find the killer! Whoever did it, and for whatever reason... this murderer has to be punished for what he/she has done. It's been almost seven years since it happened, but that's no reason to forget about it! No matter how long it takes until the killer is convicted, we can't give up! For JonBenét´s sake, and for her family´s sake... this monster has to be found.
