| ROSIE is an extremely affectionate little lady, who, unfortunately was one of those rare kittens who was born with FIV from her mom and FIV is more serious when a kitten is born with this virus. She was returned to the shelter when her owner found out she was FIV positive and no longer wanted her.
She has since grown into a lovely young miss who enjoys exploring her world and loves to be cuddled. She has made her home with her foster mom's family where she is always in the midst of things as she gets along with the other kitties and loves the dogs, especially Loulabelle, who she constantly played with and slept with while growing up. But Rosie is always battling recurring eye infections and ulcers of her lips and granulomas of her tongue which need ongoing treatment. Rosie's lip ulcers are now all gone and her operation to remove most of the large tongue granuloma was a success for which she thanks all her supporters! The tongue granulomas are now being kept under control with a new ongoing treatment of deprol medrol shots. She very much thanks Jon Allen's sponsorship of these shots. Rosie appreciates all your financial support and letting her get on with enjoying her life once again. After all, she has at least five more to go! |
