Finally, Giles whipped his glasses off and turned to glare at the may queen, "Cordelia! I understand this is...rough on you. But we're working as fast as we can! So please do SHUT UP and...and..."
"Well, if you're working so hard, why are the Slay Sisters over there TRAINING? Shouldn't they be out hunting and doing slayer stuff?"
"It's daylight." Buffy replied, throwing a kick at Faith, missing, and falling as the other Slayer swept her other leg out from under her.
"So? You could still do something." Cordelia sat down hard on the steps leading up to the stacks, "I want to go home, to my own bed, in my nice *clean* room."
"Don't even complain, princess." Faith said, "Not only did you take the bed, but you snore like a goddamn ox."
"I do NOT!"
"I was ready to stake you in your sleep. And all that makeup? Giles, I don't think part of being the 'chosen one' is babysitting Elizabeth Arden."
"Faith--"
"*Elizabeth Arden*? PLEASE! More like Ana Sui, and what would you know about makeup anyway? All I found of yours was a tube of red lipstick. What was the shade again? Oh yeah, White Trash Crimson."
"That's It. I've had enough of you and your makeup and your whiny little--"
"FAITH!" Giles snatched the newly sharpened stake out of her hand, "I think everyone needs to go to class. Now."

Faith
Interview 03a
A: I wouldn't've actually *staked* her. Just...poked at her.
Q: [laugh] She can be...uh...a little--
A: Crazymaking? Yeah. But this was nothing. Arguing over makeup was me being
me and her being Cordelia. The usual. But, um. Things get complicated when shit
starts to happen.
Q: Like what?
A: Like Dimaro.
"I can't believe I have to escort you to the *Bronze*. Buffy should be doing this. In fact, why don't we just go over there and--"
"Look, I don't want you here, either. But Buffy has a Mom thing tonight and Giles said you had to watch my back. So shut up and walk."
Faith glared at Cordelia's tube-top clad back and followed her in the direction of the Bronze. "I'm not sitting with you and your stupid friends."
"Thank God for that. No, you can just watch from wherever it is the freaks sit."
Faith stuck her tongue out at her as they reached the club, "Have fun, Princess."
"Bite one."

Cordelia Chase
Interview 03b
A: So we get to the Bronze and she goes off to somewhere, and I meet Anya and
some other people and it all goes great. I danced with some guy with these great
pants, but his hair kind of annoyed me and--
Q: Let's not get off topic. What happened after the Bronze?
A: Oh, sorry. Well, I went outside, figuring she'd meet me there and all, but
she was kind of tied up. Apparently some vampires were trying to snack on some
couple on the catwalk and she had to kick some ass.
Q: Uh huh
A: So anyway. I go outside...
Cordelia shifted impatiently from one foot to another as she waited outside the Bronze. "Faith had better hurry her ass up. I'm tired, my feet hurt from these heels..." Her tyrade trailed off as she felt someone behind her--very close behind her.
"Don't move, my dear, and it will all be over very quickly." An accented voice purred in her ear, and cool hands ran up her bare arms to her neck, "You get to feel what death is like, pretty one."
Cordelia let out a choked wimper, "Are you...You're him aren't you?"
"I see you know me. How flattering." Dimaro replied and Cordelia could feel the light prick of fangs on her neck. She closed her eyes and choked back a sob as the sharp pain of being bit shot down her neck. *So this is what it's like* she thought as she felt the blood being pulled out of her. Her eyelids fluttered as she became more and more lightheaded and she began to think that maybe this wasn't all that terrible. It didn't even hurt anymore. But then, with the sensation of flesh tearing, it stopped.
"Cordelia?" Faith's voice echoed in Cordelia's ears and when she opened her eyes the Slayer's face was looming over her, "Cordelia?"
*Am I on the ground?* Cordelia wondered in her head, just before her eyes drifted shut and everything went black.

Faith
Interview 04a
Q: You came outside to find Dimaro drinking from Cordelia?
A: Yeah. Then I just ran at them and shoved him away. She was down, and passed
out pretty fast.
Q: What happened with Dimaro?
A: The bastard ran off as soon as I had knocked him away.
Q: Then what?
A: I took her home.
Cordelia's eyes opened slowly and she found herself back in the motel, lying in bed--in someone elses tank top and boxers. *OK...*
"You're up."
Cordelia's head shot the right, and she winced as pain lanced through her skull at the sudden movement. She blinked and focused in on Faith, who was sitting in a chair by the bed, beer in hand, "Um. Yeah. What happened? Why am I back here? And where are my clothes?"
"Your clothes are ruined, princess." Faith replied, not sounding as sarcastic as she usually did when uttering the p-word, "Dimaro attacked you, and you got bit. Giles says it wasn't enough to do any damage. You just went into a kind of shock."
"Oh...wait. Who changed me?" Cordelia sat up with some struggle, leaning her back against the wall.
"I did." The Slayer replied, looking down with what was most definitely a blush staining her cheeks.
"Oh..." the cheerleader eyes the other girl warily, "Just so long as you didn't, like, enjoy it."
Faith's head shot up and she glared at her, "Don't flatter yourself, Queen C. I've seen much, much better."
Cordelia smirked, "So you admit it."
"Admit what?"
"That you're a great big lesbo, dummy."
Faith smirked back at her, "Nope." She quirked an eyebrow at Cordelia before standing up, setting her beer can down on the night table, and grabbing her jacket, "I'm going out."
"Patrol?"
"Nope."
"Oh I get it." Cordelia said scornfully, "Lemme guess, you're heading down to whatever seedy dive you frequent to pick up some skeeze bag?"
Faith turned and grinned, "And if I am? You care?"
"No."
"Didn't think so."
