| This building is one of the most elaborate vacant buildings I've yet come across, its features including a three-storie bell tower and many decorative arches. This school closed in the mid 1990's, and although the structure itself looks great, the building has obviously fallen victim to some serious vandalism. Nearly every window in the building has been broken out, and through a window I could see that many interior walls had also been smashed. In an effort to keep vandals out, all the doors and lower windows have been firmly boarded up. So this is all I could photograph for now, but someday I may try to obtain permission to go inside. It's absolutely shameful that such a beautiful building has been left to fall into ruin. But the blame for this rests entirely on the shoulders of the provincial government; like the old Elgin School just 20km away, the province has retained ownership but refuses to sell the building, for reasons which I do not know. My guess is that they're afraid someone might turn these into private schools, and the government |

| The old playground equipment, or at least what remains of it. This was a rather interesting find, one that brought back lots of memories; it's identical to the one that used to be at Elgin Elementary, up until the late 80's, upon which I had many hours of fun.
