| Below you will find links to websites I like or regularly visit. These include anything from online newpapers to webcomics as well as links to gaming sites and others. They are listed below in no particular order. Inactive links are marked in grey. | |||||||||||
| The Google Search Engine is possibly the most useful site on the internet, it is a gateway to everything on the internet and once you've mastered all the advanced search commands you will have all the worlds information at your fingertips - or you can look up song lyrics, either way, things are looking pretty good. | |||||||||||
| Dictionary.com for me, is one of the most useful sites on the internet for a similar reason to why I like Google. It is infinitely more portable than a pocket dictionary (pockets are large jute sacks made for carrying pocket dictionaries right?) and it also has foreign language translators for those of us who don't happen to be polyglots and a thesaurus (that's a kind of dinosaur, ha ha, I made a joke) for those of us who happen to be poetically and linguistically inept. | |||||||||||
| The Onion is an online news site with a difference: all the articles are completely fabricated! However, (on good days, at least) all the articles are also completely hilarious and satirise current affairs in a very cutting fashion. Some would say it's even more accurate than the real news... | |||||||||||
| The Asia Times Online (ATol) is the definative online newpaper for those who want a comprehensive and accurate understanding of current world politics. I started reading this website when the U.S. invaded Iraq and it has single-handedly taught me the other side of economics. I have to say, you're not informed until you are Asia Times informed. Unfortunately, for those of us who expect 'weekend cartoons' to be humourous rather than political, this site is a bit of a no-go. | |||||||||||
| I've read the web comic Sluggy Freelance for a few years now and I've always found the plots and gags funny and refreshing. Worth a look. | |||||||||||
| The official JAM website. JAM (Jesus and Me) is a Youth Group based at Panania Uniting Church that meets every friday at 5:30PM. | |||||||||||
| www.JimLoy.com is the 'homepage' of one Jim Loy. This man is no ordinary human, I'm almost certain he is some sort of weird site-writing space-alien but he prefers to be known as a 'Renaissance Man'. He has written almost everything there is to write about anything and put it on his website. I cannot possibly list all the different things he has on his website. Heck, it probably has a mathematical proof to prove why I can't list all the different things he has on his website, so go check it out! | |||||||||||
| Tired of running down the steps just as the train pulls out of the station? Want to pre-reserve special limited edition collector postage stamps to celebrate the commisioning of the new millenium train? Then go to the CityRail website. However, if you wanted to pre-reserve those stamps, you might want to go somewhere to get your head checked out instead. |

| Do you think Ninja's are cool? Do you like eating fast food? Just plain bored? Then maybe "you WILL experience the Ninja Burger Difference!". | |||||||||||
| A friend of mine from university is the Bass Guitarist from the girl band Charlie. I recently saw them at The Harp. Go check out their website, which has information on their gigs and samples of their music and other cool stuff. | |||||||||||
| Those amoung you who happen to be fans of 40k (or Fantasy) may wish to have a look at the Warmonger Club Website. It's got lots of articles, battle-reports and an active discussion forum. | |||||||||||
