My Gramma Waterbury
always used to say to my mother that "Boese [Gramma's maiden name] women
come from strong stock." My mother then passed this phrase on to me when
I needed a little extra push in the face of adversity. While I may be a long
way from the days on the farm where my grandmother was raised, there is still
nothing that sooths the soul like familiar family favorites on the dinner table.
And, since they say, "You are what you eat," what better to fill up
on than stong stock?! This site was created to keep those family favorites close
at hand and to be sure you forget-them-not!
