Did you ever say you love someone
But knew he did not care

And knew you would get nowhere
Did you ever look into his heart
When all the lights were low
Did you ever whisper,"God, I love him"
And would not let him know
If you ever fall in love,

Althought it causes heartache
It happens everyday
You will wonder where he is at night
