Fibonacci Time Zones

Unlike the other Fibonacci methods, time zones are a series of vertical lines. They are composed by dividing a chart into segments with vertical lines spaced apart in increments that conform to the Fibonacci sequence (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, etc.). These lines indicate areas in which major price movement can be expected.

Time Zones

Fibonacci time zones are a series of vertical lines. They are spaced at the Fibonacci intervals of 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, etc. The interpretation of Fibonacci Time Zones involves looking for significant changes in price near the vertical lines. In the following example, Fibonacci Time Zones were drawn on the Dow Jones Industrials beginning at the market bottom in 1970. Fibonacci numbers are a sequence of numbers in which each successive number is the sum of the two previous numbers.

The Fibonacci Time Zone study (located in custom trends) uses days as variables and creates a series of vertical lines in that order.

The best I see intermediately is a trading range for the Dow between 5300 and 5800 with the bond yield stopping at 7 1/2%. Bonds broke loose on a Fibonacci Time Zone established in the 1994 slide. The Dow Jones Utility index is basically at the same point it has been for ten years and seems to be forming a head and shoulders pattern short term. The XAU index is moving into a Fibonacci time zone that could be a significant point for a trend reversal and so are the major averages.

The graphic tool The Fibonacci time interval is a set of vertical lines, which are drawn from each other on time intervals which correspond to numbers of Fibonaccis sequence. Fibonacci Time interval is the tool of the forecast, because as according to a popular belief the most significant market events occur through the time intervals corresponding to Fibonacci numbers.

The window of parameters of Fibonacci Spiral graphic tool is shown in the figure below: The Menu of Tools is a set of special graphical tools, which can be used on the area of charts. Each item of this menu contains whether a special command of graphical tools or the name of the graphical tool. To add a new graphical tool on the chart, click the Tools menu. The popup menu, containing a list of graphical tools will be shown on the screen. The popup menu may contain submenu, which controls the drawing mode for the selected tool. There are the following items in the Tools menu: Remove All, Line, Fibonacci Retracement, Fibonacci Fans, Fibonacci Arc, Fibonacci Time Goal Analisis, Fibonacci Spiral, Fibonacci Time Zone, Fibonacci phi-channel, Andrew's Pitchfork, Horizontal Line, Vertical Line, Add Text.

Fibonacci Time Zone are in details described in [1]. Fibonacci Time Zones is a set of the vertical lines constructed on certain distances from each other. Those distances are defined on the values of Fibonacci numerical series: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34 etc. To build Fibonacci Time Zone graphical Tool, it is necessary to choose the "Fibonacci Time Zone" item of the "Tools" menu. Then the start point should be set on the chart area by click on it with the left button of the mouse. The time zones will be built from the start point.
