What Does God Think Of Me?
Many times we all wonder what God must think of us. Does God look at me and smile when he sees me or does he look at me and a tear trails down his cheek? Well, God gives us the answer in his Word. He who is unto salvation brings God honor and glory, but only if he is producing fruits. What I mean by that is, as Christians our desire is to serve God in all aspects of our life. We need to produse the Fruit of the Spirit. Galations 5:22-25 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperence: against such there is no law. And they that are Christs have crucified the flesh (done away with the things of the world) with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit let us also walk in the Spirit. We as Christians are to apply these fruits to our lives. And then we will please God. And he will smile down on us! But how, oh, how can we apply these to our lives? We cant! Only God can, because he is the potter and I am the clay. You see the Head potter, Jesus, is working on shaping us into the perfect vessel. When he feels a little piece of dirt buried in the clay he stops everything to take that little piece of dirt in our lives out. But the mold or clay cant do that only the potter can. Jesus is working to make us a vessel of honor ready for his service. Jesus looks at me as his daughter, that He is working, molding, into a person that can serve him. He wants me to be a witness for the other Christians that are being molded. Because, you see, we have to let Jesus work on us, if we dont let him hes not going to twist your arm. He will put circumstances in our life to make us see clearly, but he isnt going to make us do what is right. He gave us a free will that we may use that will to honor and worship him. But we dont use our will according to God. We use it selfishly, working to please ourselves. But God wants to show us that our will can be used to honor Him. To make him happy for eternity! Jesus is not exactly training us for the world, oh yes to some extent, but his true desire is to make us ready for heaven to sanctify us for heaven! Jesus said: John 17:16-17 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. We are just passing through this world we are not of the world we are set apoart from the world if we are Christians. Thats what God thinks of me... set apart from the world, made holy in his sight. I am pure in his eyes! Even though God may look at me as pure now that I have become a Christian there was a time when ever thing I did was written in a book and kept record of. God said Romans 3: 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. he also said Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; The only righteous person was Jesus, Son of God. We cant begin to measure up to him! So God kept record as he knocked on my soul door. Then when I became a Christian Jesus wiped clean the book of records and instead wrote my name in the Lambs Book of Life with permanent ink!! Before I was a Christian God looked at me as someone that he loved and wanted to bring to his side that I might serve him in a way no other person has ever served him! He wanted to be able to get to know me, be able to talk together and show me how to live this life to be joyful and complete. Then I came to him and asked him if I could get to know him personally! And he was over joyed, so full of Joy that He scooped me up gave me a hug and smiled. And the angles rejoiced to see God so Happy! He looked at me and told me to worship his name. That as long as I can live and have breath tell ever man I come across of Gods love so that they may have the same joy and peace as I do! And you know what, that is what God thinks of me! He loves me so dearly! He know looks at me as a pure vessel ready to serve Him the best wine! Why do I think Im going to Heaven? I actually cant answer this question! Have I shocked you? I cant answer that question because I dont think Im going to heaven, I know that I know that I know that I am going to Heaven, because God has told me! And promised me! Listen to this: John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that who so ever believeth in him should not persih but have ever lasting life. For God sent not his some into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved. God said that he sent his only Son for me, Me! So that I could believe on his name, only ask, and i will be able to go to heaven! He also said that: John 10:9 I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. So God is the door to heaven if I, Romans 10:13b, call upon the name of the Lord, I, shall be saved. But God also said that he is the only way I can get to heaven, John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me. I cant do works to get to heaven, because no matter how hard I try I can be perfect. And to be perfect is the only way to get to heaven. Jesus took care of our sins at the cross when he died for us! And now I can say that I dont think I am going to heaven I know that I am going to heaven!! And because I can say that I confessed with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and that I believe he is real and willing to help me. I can claim this promise: John 14:1-3Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.In my house are many mansions: if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and recieve you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. God is building me mansions in heaven that I can be in while I sit at his feet and worship him for eternity! And I will look at his face, and sit at his feet, and I will sit with him at His table, and I will sing praises to his name for all eternity, because I know I am going to heaven! Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, then to the Greek. So I will witness to ever person that crosses my path! I will tell them of this love and promise that God has given me! So that they may also have this same Joy! Because I woulnt want to keep from them the cure of a life time!
