Other Stuff: If ya wanna say spoilers, then for the 2/19/01 Raw, though we’ve all seen it already, lol. Other than that, I don’t own Matt, Amy, Vince, or anyone else mentioned in the story. I also don't own "When it started," The Strokes do... It's on the Spiderman soundtrack, which is pretty good , BTW..

Dean once again went for the steel chair. *This really oughtta teach her a lesson,* he thought. *This'll teach her for shunning my advances.* He climbed back into the ring, ready to swing the chair.

Suddenly, Matt Hardy came running through the crowd. He didn't like one bit what he saw before him. *I love her; I can't stand to see her like that. *Screw the script,* he thought.

Matt instinctively kicked Dean in the gut, causing him to drop the chair.

*What the hell was that for?* Dean thought as he saw the chair come crashing down on his skull.

"This is for messing with the woman I love," Matt hissed. Dean was down for the count.

Amy began to stir, and Matt slid out of the ring. She saw Dean laying in a heap, and went to cover him for the three count.

Pretty much unaware of what had just happened, Amy was surprised to see Matt raising her hand in victory. Matt helped her up and congratulated her, giving her a hug. What came next was a total surprise.

Matt began to kiss her. Seeing that Amy hadn't responded, Matt pulled away immediately and began to apologize. "I'm so sorry Amy, It... It's just that I... I love you," he stammered.

Seeing the utterly shocked look on her face, Matt decided the best thing to do was just leave. Dejectedly, he began to walk up the ramp.

It only took Amy a moment to realize that she couldn't deny the feelings she had for Matt at that moment. She charged up the ramp after him.

After what seemed like an eternity, she caught up to him and spun him around. As she did, Matt began to apologize again.

"Amy, I'm sorry. I just got caught up in the mome..."

Amy cut him off before he could finish. "Matt, stop it," she said, putting her fingers over his lips. "I love you, too."

It was Matt's turn to be shocked as Amy drew him in for the single most passionate kiss in the history of the WWF.

When they broke apart, they both had wide smiles on their faces. They happily walked up the ramp, close to each other, pausing a moment to kiss again, drawing screams and cheers from the crowd.

They walked back into the dressing room just in time to find the entire roster glued to the monitors watching the replay.

Suddenly, a voice spoke up from the back. "Matt, the crowd ate that up. They loved it. Truly amazing. You two have a certain chemistry. I just can't put my finger on it..." Vince trailed off. It was then they knew that they had a surefire storyline, and the fans had no idea that it hadn't been planned.

“Ahhh, the beauty of professional wrestling," Matt said.

"What exactly do you mean?" Amy asked.

"You," came the reply. "I love you more than you could ever know."
