Chapter 7: You move me
It was already April and Connor was on his second surgery to repair the damage a neighbor’s dog had done. Natalee was just thankful that her son was alright and it hadn’t spread all over the news with Lance and the guys spending so much time in Orlando and touring.
It was hard to keep track of where they were at and what the latest gossip was. The album seemed to be doing ok and she couldn’t resist but to like them all the more and she could never turn the radio off since Connor seemed to like them too.
By the end of April, everything on Natalee’s side was great but on the other side the youngest member began to have his doubts.

"Hey, Justin. How are you?" Kristy said looking up from her massive pile of notes she had to review on the guys. This was her first internship into the psychology field and if it wasn’t for her father, working for this young group she wouldn’t be on it.
"Um, is your dad here?" He said nervously.
"No he is on Joey’s bus. Is there anything I can do for you?" She politely smiled and pushed all the paperwork aside.
"Well I guess you will work but how can I talk to you about…" Justin shyly remarked as he slid his fingers through his tight curls.
"Justin, you can talk to me about anything. That is what my father and I are here for." She calmed him as she placed her hand on top of his.
"Ok well here goes. The group isn’t doing as good as it was before. I have about thirty telephone numbers in my wallet of girls that want a piece of me, although I don’t know why. They guys are all so much older and experienced and I don’t know where this is going to take us or if it is going to take us. I mean we started this thing three years ago and sure we had success in Europe and what if it doesn’t work out here. Are the rest of the guys and I going to remain friends and what if I screw something up and call one of these girls and have meaningless sex and produce a child or something what will that do to the group. I mean you know what I mean don’t you am I making any sense at all to you because none of this makes any sense to me. It must mean something to you I mean you are going into this psychology field to help people like me ones that can’t make sense of their own thoughts so you must be able to understand something right?" Justin finally took a deep breath and a drink of water.
"Justin it makes perfect sense. You are afraid of what this might bring. Yes it is going to change your life but are you interested in it changing your life for the better or are you just in it to get an easy lay." Kristy stated in matter of fact sort of way.
"I am in this business because this is what I love to do. I have always wanted to entertain people with my skills." Justin said becoming calmer.
"Well then you don’t have to worry about the thirty numbers in your wallet now do you. Just throw them away because you aren’t going to call them anyway. And don’t worry about making a mistake with a one night stand because you know you won’t do that either. You are the type of person that is a lover. You will wait eternity to make sure that both of you are committed to the relationship before you take it any further that making sure you both talk on the phone every night and I am sure I don’t need to reinforce what your mother taught you about safe sex." Kristy laughed.
"No you don’t and gee thanks for helping me through this. You know you move me to believe that we just need to tough it out and this will come our way. Thanks." Justin said standing up and hugging her.
She instantly realized that Justin was going to be her hardest client on trying to keep her number one rule. Don’t get personally involved.
