Chapter 13: She’s Every Woman
Everyday for the last two weeks the guys had ridden Lance’s back for the mistake he was making with Jayme. Joey was still making the extreme calls to Reann, Chris continued to plan ways to get Sandy, JC and Kelly had started to plan their wedding and decided that the 4th of July would be a perfect time for an engagement party and Justin well, he continued to hang out with Kristy and was drawn closer to her.
By the end of May the guys were back home for a much needed break. Lance went back to Mississippi to spend time with his family, Chris stayed most every day at the House of Blues, Joey took a trip back to Germany, JC flew to Maryland to be with Kelly and Justin and Kristy spent the time going to the various theme parks together. Justin was finding it harder and harder to keep his growing attraction for Kristy under his belt.
By the 4th of July, the guys were at the compound celebrating not only Independence Day and also JC and Kelly’s engagement.
Justin about fell into the pool when Kristy came out with her two piece bathing suit, she looked so radiant he knew then that he it was going to be even harder.
Justin stood back as some of the party participants dance under the stars, he watched closely as Kristy’s father twirled her around.
"Man she’s every woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with. Pull yourself together and make a move on her." Justin said to himself.
At that moment, Kristy had gone to the side of the building to use the restroom just as the fireworks were starting. She didn’t really want to be there since she had no one to hold.
But as she walked out Justin was standing there. He said nothing but he grabbed her shoulders and kissed her. At first she was startled them she fell into it and last she realized what was going on and she pushed him away.
"Justin we can’t do this. I work for you it is so unprofessional." Kristy said her heart slightly breaking as Justin had a look on his face, "WHY NOT?"
Kristy started to back away continuing to go on that he was unethical and unprofessional and she didn’t realize that he continued to walk with her. He nodded his head as he was agreeing with her and gave her cute little looks because by the way her reaction was he wasn’t the only one that enjoyed it.
She finally stopped talking and when she did she let out a deep breath because she knew that she wasn’t going to be able to resist that adorable face, he deeply whispered, "SO unprofessional but so right." He pulled her into his arms and kissed her like she had never been kissed before deep and passionately.
They soon broke from the kiss when they both heard the grand finale and everyone yelling at Chris to get away from the light. They looked at each other and both agreed to keep what was going on between them a secret but they also agree to see where it was going to go.
