Season Four
1999-2000
1. The Tattle Tale Truth (Sepember 20, 1999):  Eric and Annie strive to keep his visiting parents from discovering Julie's pregnancy, and Matt goes apartment hunting despite the fact he doesn't have a job to pay the rent.  Meanwhile, Lucy and Mary hatch a plan to get their hands on Matt's yet-to-be vacated bedroom. 
2. Life Is Beautiful (September 27, 1999):  John tries to make Shauna feel less alienated now that he and Matt are roommates; Simon's efforts to play man-of-the-house are continually frustrated, and the family chafes about Eric's blassful post-heart attack perspective on life. 
3. Yak Sada (October 4, 1999):  Eric finds himself entangled in the thorny issue of gender roles when he fears a parishioner will ruin her life is she married her adamantly chauvinistic fiance.  Meanwhile, Simon wants to drop out of home economics because he's the only boy and the best chef in class; and Mary tries to keep Annie from learning about Ruthie's new sport. 
4. Come Drive With Me (October 11, 1999):  Talking with a hospital patient (Josh Evans) spurs Matt to seriously think about a career, and Eric's superiors reconsider giving him a raise when they see him driving a pricey convertible.  Meanwhile, Mary feels left out when Lucy and Annie work on their bathroom together.  
5. With Honors (October 18, 1999):  The Camden kids face various tests of honor when Matt's calssmate tries to get him to cheat; Simon's new friend (Justin Garms) brings a marijuana into the Camden house; Mary confronts a potentially damaging rumor about her friend Corey (Alicia Willis); and Lucy must decided whether to help a new beau illegally acess the school computers so he can change a grade.  
6. Just You Wait And See (October 25, 1999):  Relationships troubles abound when a very pregnant Julie arrives at the Camdens' announcing she's left Hank (Ed Begley Jr.) and Lucy finds herself in an unexpected gender role reversal with her date.  Meanwhile, Simon lands in hot water with Deena whe he finds himself pursued by a flirtatious 15-year-old; and Ruthie smuggles a lost kitten into the house.  Julie gives birth Erica, as Hank delivers the his daughter. 
7. Sin (November 8, 1999):  Mary's college scholarship is jeopardized when her coach (Kurt Rambis) locks the team members out of practice until they improve their grades.  Meanwhile, Annie and the school principal catch Simon making a rude gesture at another student, and the rigors of living with a disheveled roommate has Matt rethinking life on his won.  Mary and her basketball teammates trash the gym, and they are arrested. 
8.  And Expiation (November 15, 1999):  Eric and Annie get Mary out of jail and hire a lawyer, who warns them there's a good chance Mary could face prison for vandalizing the school gym.  Meanwhile, Mary's troubles give Matt an excuse to move back home and Simon and Ruthie wrestle with the guilt of believing they could have warned their parents that Mary might do something "extreme."
9. Dirty Laudry (November 22, 1999):  Eric tries to return a $20,000 check to a parishioner (Takayo Fischer) who donated it; Mary and Lucy overhear a suggestive conversation between Matt and Shauna that implies the couple are sexually intimate; and Ruthie's so-called friends pressure her into ostracizing a classmate. 
10. Who Nose (November 29, 1999):  Mary flirts with a fellow offender (Adam LaVorgna) while doing her community service and asks a skeptical Lucy to help her talk their parents into letting her see him; Eric conceals from Matt that he's recommended Shauna for a scholarship to NYU; and Simon inadvertently falls in with a bad crowd at school. 
11. Forget Me Not (December 13, 1999):  Annie learns her dad is missing when Ginger unexpectedly arrives in search of him.  Meanwhile, Mary clashes with her parents over her desire to date Robbie; Lucy ditches a Habitat for Humanity project for a date with a high-school hunk; and Matt ruins his weekend with Simon with his moping over Shauna's impending move to New York. 
12. All By Myself (January 24, 2000):  A burnt-out Annie ditches the family for a weekend alone and makes an unexpected friend.  Meanwhile, Matt says good-bye to Shauna as she heads for New York; Lucy and Mary mope over their beaus failure to call; and Eric vainly tries to take care of the twins, the kids and the chores by himself. 
13. Who Do You Trust (January 31, 2000):  Although Annie gives Mary and Lucy the okay for a double date with Robbie and his brother Rick (Lance Bass), a suspicious Eric follows the two couples.  Meanwhile, Matt's depression over Shauna's departure infuriates John (Chaz Lamar Shepherd) when Matt bursts into tears during a dinner with their neighbors.  And Simon secretly buys cigrettes with Nigel, spurring Eric to use a little psychology to get a confession.
14. Words (February 7, 2000): Annie goes on the warpath when she learns that one of Ruthie's teachers has been calling her "stupid"; Simon befriends a boy (Shawn Pyfrom) with Tourette's syndrome; and Shauna fears her relationship with Matt is crumbling when he keeps avoiding her phone calls.  Meanwhile Mary refuses to speak to Simon but won't tell him why.
15. Loves Me, Loves Me Not (February 14, 2000):  The Camdens celebrate David and Sam's first birthday.  Despite Eric's misgivings, Robbie gets Annie's blessin to plan a Valentine's Day road trip for himself and Mary; Matt starts hanging out with Heather while avoiding Shauna's phone calls, which worries Shauna when Mary innocently spills the beans about Heather's return.  meanwhile, Simon covers up evidence of an intense make-out sesssion with his girfriend. 
16. Say A Little Prayer For Me (February 21, 2000):  When Eric tries to impress upon the kids the power of prayer, the siblins wind up praying for questionable things, such as Mary's desire to reunite with Robbie, Jogn and Matt's hope for a call from the same woman and Ruthie's request for a pony.  Meanwhile, Lucy finds herself mistaken for an unwed teen mom when she takes the twins out by herself. 
17. Twelve Angry People (February 28, 2000):  Eric is stunned when he is the only jurur to vote to convict a murder defendant and learns that his fellow jurors don't really care whether the defendant is guility or innocent.  meanwhile, Ruthie raises Annie's ire after curring a playmate's hair; and Matt goes stir-crazy when he decides to study in his dad's church office.
18. Hoop Dreams (April 10, 2000):  After dreaming of playing with NBA champs, Mary belives Coach Cleary plans for her to turn pro when he asks her to meet with him for an unspecified reason.  Meanwhile, Eric feels he's been neglecting Simon and pulls him out of school for a guys day out, and Ruthie decides she wants to be Queen of England.
19. Talk to Me (May 1, 2000):  After an obviously troubled girl leaves his office before sharing her problem, Eric tries to track her down and decides to pump his kids for information.  meanwhile, Julie tosses Hank out of the house because she senses he's keeping a secret and Matt gets caught in the middle when Hank lands on his doorstep.
20. Liar, Liar (May 8, 2000):  Lies and half-truths plague the Camden Clan when a co-worker's tall tales taint Matt's reputation, jeopardizing his job, and classmate steals a story that ruthie created, while a reporter (Sam Rubin) gets a too perfect picture when he profiles the family.  And John aims to confront a politician who quotes Maya Angelou's verse it if were his own. 
21. Love Stinks Part One (May 15, 2000):  Shauna is back for the summer, but Matt's preoppuption with Heather delays their reunion.  Robbie returns to seek Mary's forgiveness and tell her he's reformed, but Eric and Annie refuse to believe it.  Meanwhile, Denna breaks up with Simon for no apparent reason; Eric learns that Lucy's fallen for Robbie's step-brother and Ruthie gets herself a boyfriend who's willing to do anything she says.
22. Love Stinks Part Two (May 22, 2000):  Eric flips when Mary says she's not going to college and announces alternative plans; an amorous Brett (Matt Farnsworth) follows Shauna home, where she tries to resist his advances; and Annie belives Lucy still likes Andrew (Will Estes), despite her daughter's date with Ronald( Brain Bowen).  Meanwhile, Simon asks the school gossip why Deena broke up with him.
