Slender, lithe, and young, she's very much a dancer, and her body makes that obvious. Usually clad in some sort of belly-dancer's outfit, complete with bare feet and gold or silver bangles about wrists and ankles, she looks almost gypsy-esque, ebony waves tumbling about her slightly tanned face and into amber eyes. Sometimes, however, she chooses to wear her usual tank-top and shorts, due to the fact that the slim sylvan has a bad habit of getting into brawls... No matter what she wears, though, the left sleeve is always missing, to expose the only tattoo she has - a panther's head, over black knotwork - a mark she shares with Alessan Dreylin.

Luli was born seconds after Kyra was, to a 'favored' woman of the Bearclaw cheif. However, when it was found that the twin girls had amazing magical capabilities(at about five years old), they were both brutally raped and beaten, before sent out running with their mother, to be hunted down like animals. Though the twin girls hid within the underbrush, their mother was shot down before their eyes. The twins wandered for days, having no idea what to do - having never been trained to survive in the outside world, though they were solidly connected - so closely that they knew what each other were thinking, and when one shifted, the other did - instinctively - as well. When they made it to a well-traveled road, they were almost immediately picked up by slave traders. The two were torn from each other, and Luli did not see her sister for nearly thirteen years.
Luli has never once spoken about her life as a slave, nor her escape. At the age of seventeen, she somehow got out, and worked her way away from the slavers - showing up on the doorstep of the tavern nearly a year later, in the form of a pandabear. There, she met Felessan Dreylin(then Felessan D'Aciere), and almost immediately 'fell in love' with him. It was an infatuation that would last years.
Luli spend a few months in the tavern realm, sleeping in the forests and meeting new people - Ondine, Ice de Valois, Asititeph, Erica, and a dryad by the name of Amasaldre. Amasaldre adopted the sylvan as her friend and sister, due to the fact that neither of them spoke common very well. In one late-night ritual, Amasaldre imbued dryad's blood in Luli's veins - making her half-dryad, half-sylvan. It was about this time that Luli once again found her sister, and she was delighted to see Kyra once more. The two of them sat down together, and altered their very blood - interlacing the sylvan DNA with dryad blood, and linking their kind forever with the forest. In doing so, they, essentially, created a new Clan - and this clan they named 'NiteFall'. For a long time, Kyra and Luli were as they had been before - and now they were taking orphans in, and imbuing the orphans with their blood. The first one to request this of them was a boy by the name of Stefan - but you'd never know he hadn't been born NiteFall, with the way he acts about the clan - the protector and guardian of all the younger ones. However, Kyra was soon tainted by something - what it was has never been discovered; but she decided that her sister was at fault for all of her misery, and Kyra begin planning various ways to kill Luli. Luli, however, discovered that, even though the mind-link between herself and Kyra had been severed, their spirit-link had not, and if Kyra killed her, surely Kyra herself would die. Because of this, Luli eventually fled the realm - and found herself stuck in another, called Ayenee. Desperate to get 'home', Luli resorted to prostitution to earn money to pay for a riftswalker to open a portal back to the tavern realms. Very little is known about this period of time - she returned to the tavern realms somewhat mellowed, a bit harsher, a little short-tempered, and with a new gift - her illegitemate daughter, Kimba. Not long after arriving in the realm, she met up with Felessan once more, and found him single... and she herself shocked at this. Not long after that, the two made love... due to Felessan's fertility and the way of her clan, Luli became pregnant... this time with three children.Not long after that (Due to how sporadic and short NiteFall pregnancies are), she gave birth. All three children survived... born in the forms of a black-furred wolf, a black-furred kitten, and a golden-furred fox - named Jasper, Sei, and Lance.
Luli then met Alessan.
Alessan was what Luli declared as her first and only love. The only problem was the fact that he was Felessan's twin/younger brother. Because of family 'decree', Luli becoming Alessan's lover drove a deep rift between the two brothers, and with Felessan's taunting of Alessan, she swore she'd never speak to him again. All this changed when Alessan returned from a trip 'not quite himself', and left Luli.
Luli proceeded to get drunk, and, when Felessan came to her, she fell into his arms, wishing for Alessan and yet wanting the man she held to. Waking up beside him, she cursed himself, herself, and life in general... though she found Alessan not long after that. The two made up - though Luli continued to feel as though she was merely a burden to him. This, accompanied by a variety of insults being constantly thrown at her by various people of the tavern, drove her to suicide, with a lengthy note accompanying it. In dying, due to her soul-link with her sister, Kyra died, as well, the soul-link destroyed. Ice witnessed part of this, and had Luli ressurrected - though, due to the mutilation of Luli's body, the ressurrection went slightly awry - Luli's body reverting to as it was when she was seventeen - no scars, and without her dryad blood. The only true marks she retained were her slave-brandings and the tattoo she shared with Alessan - a panther's head over black knotwork, on her left shoulder.
When Luli awoke, she found most of her memory missing, and was quite astounded to find that she had children, not to mention the fact that there was supposedly an entire clan created by her blood... though she no longer had this blood. The one thing she remembered through it all were the brothers - Alessan and Felessan, the images of them intermingled in her mind.
Stefan and Ice worked to bring Luli's memory up to speed - during which her home caught fire and burned - but once they had, she merely remained in the clearing where she had died, thinking that she had no real reason to return to the rest of the realm without Alessan, hoping he was happier wherever he was.
Time passed.
A bit later, Alessan came to her, 'woke her up' to reality, and showed her sanctuary. Once made content that Alessan was happy, she did her best to live - and in doing so, met back up with Felessan.
As he forgave her for her errors, she forgave him for his - and now that both had much changed, the two worked on rekindling what relationship they had. This, in turn, led to 'other' things, and now Luli spends most of her time at his side, the two left to travel the realms at their leisure.
