I hope you find it inspiring, and that at the very least, i hope it reaches out to you, so that you know there are other young women out there in the world who have been called upon by goddess, just like you- and that is something we should celebrate!
A Fairly quiet week on the whole! Well, aside from desperately trying to put a drama and dance production together with the rest of my class! We are performing it for four local schools at the end of March, and the theme? Aim Higher! Basically we are trying to empower kids with the options available to them post-16 and post-18! We are doing various mini-skits on what might happen if they went to university, got a job, got an apprenticeship, etc! We're trying to give a balanced view, we dont want to make say going to work a less viable option than university! Its proving difficult though, seeing as only half the group seem to turn up to meetings!
Spent the weekend at home, caught up with my good friend Gemma! Click Here to see the pictures! Its always nice to be at home and see everyone. After this year, i might be spending a lot more time there as i am considering starting my Montessori teacher training in September..... but thats too-long-a-story to put here!
Oh, an update on my-so-called friend. I think she felt pretty bad about what she said because she went to Claires Accesories and bought me a very cute present and has been going out of her way to be nice to me ever since! :-) To be honest though, it no longer bothers me. I got so wrapepd up in my own world as we so often do that i failed to take a step back and look at the bigger picture!
