She was alone
No one was there
She was crying
And no one heard
She left her heart
Hanging down the tree
But no one noticed
She felt so desperate
She wanted a friend
But she was never
To find it in the end

Stairs�
The golden colour
Shimmering in my eyes
The sparkles fly
Above my head
So beautiful
I feel it glowing
I see your face
Smiling at mine
There�s no where else
I�d rather be
Your embrace
Holds me tight
Never let go
And I will stay with you
Every night
That I have left
Of my life....

The nights are quiet, the days are sad
The hours are long, the minutes are slow
Forever I�ll wait, for you to return
It just seemed like yesterday
When you laughed a lot
when we had so much fun
I�ll never give up, I�ll always be there
I know you will come back someday
I know you will think through
But I just hope its sooner than later

Why do people never understand
When you�re lonely and need a hand
Its so sad when you�re alone
And all you need is a friendly �hi�
Why do things go right then wrong
Why can�t we have people who care

The sea of love
Washed up angry waves
The joy and laughter
Doesn�t matter to anyone
I knew in some ways
My love for you will last
Spirits flew freely
Around the air
Smiles remain on some faces
While others have
tears in their eyes

I close my eyes and I can see
The day we met, just one moment and I knew
You�re my best friend, do anything for you
We�ve gone so far and done so much
And I feel like we�ve always been together
Right by my side, through thick and thin
You�re the part of my life, I�ll always remember
The time has come, its for the best I know it
Somehow, someday we�d have to say goodbye
You�ve helped me find the strength inside
And the courage to make all my dreams come true
Now will I find another friend like you

Love is like a lump of gold
Its hard to get, its hard to hold
Of all the guys I�ve ever met
You�re the one I won�t forget
I do believe that God above
Created you for me to love
He picked you from all the rest
Because he knew I�d like you the best
And when I die and go up there
I�ll wait for you by the golden stair
If you�re not here by judgement day
I�ll know you went the other way

A pane of glass
Shatters from
The whispers in the mind
Secrets turned to fragments
Of sharp glass
Jagged edges, broken glass
A missing pane of glass
In the window of my mind

A transition of love,
a spectacle of hate,
it would take pure evil,
to decide my fate.

You may have loved,
that much is true,
but it's beyond belief,
that we are through.

I can't give up,
something you won't try,
these new powers are mine,
those I refuse to deny.

But I'll never reach you,
or so you say,
do your best to convince,
I won't go away.

I'd wait to the end,
choosing good over bad,
I can't lose you now,
risk all I had.

See me as the man,
you did before,
learn to trust,
give a little more.

By ending a life,
you saved me from Hell,
feelings still remain,
ones I sense all too well.


If you look to the future,
forget a troubled past,
we can start over,
make ourselves last.

But instead you stray,
away from what you know,
away from my heart,
you'll continue to go.

Far away,
shrouded from sight,
a man lies dormant,
in a demon of the night.

Buried within,
void of a voice,
this unsuspecting innocent,
doesn't have a choice.

He lies in wait,
for what's to come,
evil is here to stay,
and he knows it's won.

Glimpsing his love,
watching her smile,
it seems like forever,
though it's only been awhile.

He wants to be with her,
he wants to regain,
an identity lost,
as well as his name.

But the struggle is useless,
his chance is past,
the all powerful evil,
will make itself last.

He secretly wishes,
that she somehow knew,
but even if she did,
what could she do?

For she cannot fight,
what remains unseen,
premonitions are vacant,
as are her dreams.

Can she still trust him,
when the truth comes to light,
or will she be forced,
to do what's right?

Waiting, wishing,
hoping you'd care,
but even with my return,
your feelings are bare.

You've concealed the hurt,
believed in lies,
I'd probably lose count,
of the nights you've cried.

I know you're still there,
somewhere inside,
but I see a stranger before me,
when I look in your eyes.

I've lost too much,
I've given my life,
though I had no idea,
it would cost me my wife.

How can you stand there,
pretending it's gone,
as much as you try,
it sounds all the more wrong.

You live for the moment,
I live for us,
because you can't get past,
that web of distrust.

If you'd only stop running,
and face your fears,
talk this over,
shed some more tears.

I won't give up,
that much is true,
in our time apart,
my love for you grew.

So here I wait,
with a mask of sorrow,
hoping today,
will shed light on tomorrow.

You're only denying,
what you all too well know,
and I'm not moving,
I've got nowhere to go.

I try to fight it,
but I can't prevail,
so I'll try harder,
and I won't fail.

I struggle to confess,
the words I can't find,
it's just no use,
he's controlling my mind.

I try to regain,
the things I've lost,
you are my life,
the greater cost.

Have some hope,
try to be strong,
I think I may come back,
to where I belong.

If you'd only look closer,
and tried to see,
a man may seem a man,
but that man isn't me.

Dare to remember,
a day that's past,
keep it in sight,
try to make it last.

Recall the void,
you've been deceived,
she tricked us all,
she made us believe.

He feeds on power,
in a world that's dim,
he enjoys the darkness,
and everything within.

Evil consumes him,
shutting me out,
he's trying to erase,
the good I'm about.

But he can't overcome,
what's already set in stone,
he can't survive,
on his own.

If you can forgive me,
for all I've done,
if your love can truimph,
I'd say we have won.

My feelings can conquer,
what I set out to destroy,
I'll vanquish his essence,
and pull apart his ploy.

Inside my heart,
within my soul,
I question my fate,
and where I will go.
