The Missing Card.

Twas like I was  child again,
As I descended the stairs,
The anniversary of my Earthly birth
The presents, cards and wares.

There was just one card missing though,
The tears made it hard to see,
Then I heard her voice, Annes, you know?
As she whispered these words to me;

Happy Birthday, Steve, my card is plain to see,
But youre looking in the wrong places dear
It is etched in Gold, upon your Heart
Like the Care and Love you gave to me.

You know, now that I am happy,
That Im free from hurt and pain
Go on now, like you once did,
With the knowledge you have gained.

I am where I chose to be,
All those eons ago,
It was my choice to leave you now,
The time for you to grow.

Expand your Light and share it well,
I will help you, a little while
Never think of me at that sad time,
Think of me sharing your smile.

Yes, it was sad when we parted
With your knowledge you should know,
That the things you saw, you heard and said
How I still Love you so.

That last night, when you spoke to me
I was saying, yes, yes, yes,
I was not crying or fearful,
As we kissed our final kiss.

So go on now, with gladness
And the happy Life we led,
Before I go, Ill Heal your Heart,
Here, a kiss, upon your head.
