Swimming
Swimming, in my opinion, is one of the most highly overlooked skills that many Rangers on their way to greatness fail to train properly. Many rangers forget that once you have reached a certain rank you can swim the rivers between Riverhaven and Crossing. The spell Caiman Swim is also extremely effective in helping achieve this, but so many get tunnel vision focused on combat based spells they forget the basic survival. Remember, Rangers are survival based primary. These survival are a necessity to help you get around as well as hunt.
Start off swimming by going to Arthedale. Remember the tree that you started climbing at? Well, you can dive from it into the swimming hole. Moving from room to room teaches swimming. Keep at it until this location no longer teaches you. Many will tell you to move to the brook in goblins out the west gate in crossing when Arthedale no longer teaches you. It has been my experience that after Arthedale, Langenfirth is the place to go. Near the wharf in lang the river there teaches to a high level. The brook on the east side of the town of langenfirth also teaches extremely well into the 100's when the river no long trains you. Once your into the 90's and can give yourself a good cast of Caiman Swim swimming the river between Crossing and RiverHaven will be a great place to learn.
