Following is an explanation of the regulations to be complied with by all creatures of the Forests and, in addition, a brief description of how the RPG works. Many of these rules are specific to FoF and it is firmly suggested that all wishing to join should read and take heed of them. |

Activity is a rule. At the very least, you must be on every other day.
Many sites say No Powerplaying in big mean capital letters, but not this one. I do believe most of the RPers here are capable of containing their lust to crumple the other character, so I will not add no powerplaying as a rule unless you guys abuse my kindness.
Yes, I am going to say no porn and such, blah blah blah...keep this place clean, guys.
Cussing I don't mind as long as it's controlled.
When you describe your character, you have to be descriptive or have a pic. I will not discard your joining post unless it's really bad, but your regurlar posts must be clear and well described.
You may join your character with a power, which may be anything. But I would prefer it if your power was something Godly, that when you joined your character would still be working on prefecting his/her charm, and try to have some slightly reasonable limits. And make your powers creative. I don't want to see 'water elementrial' or stuff like that. RPers are writers. It adds more to the game.
There are no humans, and even though it says that when you first came here you were one, you do not absolutely have to have been one. Histories should be diverse, and effect the present in this realm.
When you die, you have a choice: become a ghost/spirit, be gone forever, or jouney to the lands of the dead but refuse to stay (come back to life). You can refuse to die only three times before this choice is elliminated.
Whether you are spying or just traveling, you must post where you are.
Dispite the fact that there is a hawk Protector, you may only join as a tiger, wolf, horse, or fox. If you must have another species, e-mail me. The username is forever and the password is young |

The five varying species residing within the Forests and a brief description of each is detailed below. Each of these species is allocated with a specific duty to perform. |
Foxes: Foxes act as scouts and spies. This requires them to be cunning, discreet and intelligent. They are often needed to venture into other territories to acquire information. The fox Protector is known as Deep Luck. |
Wolves: Wolves are the primary warriors of a pack. They posess an exceptional fighting ability, particularly in melee combat, and often use this superiority to ward of great hordes of enemies. The Wolf Protector is Moonstorm. |
Horses: Horses are the guardians and sentinels of a territory. They are required to alert the Alphas of their land and defend it should any intruders enter. The Horse Protector is dubbed Bold. |
Tigers: Tigers attack in stealth and are classfied as ambush warriors. They may be requested to capture a creature of signifficance or to liberate an imprisoned member of their territory. The tiger Protector is Shadowlight. |

Alliances |
Alliances are able to be forged between territories, similar species within territories (For example, the foxes of one territory may ally with those of another. This does not necessarily require the consent of the Alpha) and indeed individuals. For two packs to become allied, both Alphas are required to agree to the conditions of alliance. |

Ranking |
Alphas: Each territory is governed by an Alpha Male and/or Female. Both hold equal power and may be of any species. It is not required for Alpha Male and Female to be mates, or even of similar species. It is their duty to decide which territories to attack, to secure alliances, to promote members of the pack and to decide those worthy of acceptance into their territory. It is also within an Alpha's power to demote and exile pack members. Alphas are not obligated to receive every creature desiring acceptance. Foreigners should be considered and scrutinised carefully. |
Species Leaders: For each species there is an appointed Species Leader. These creatures are chosen by the Alpha(s) and are often the most trusted advisors and esteemed comrades. Species Leaders are required to aid the Alphas in governing those of lower rank and designing effective aggressive and defensive attack schemes. |
Commanders: Commanders are the elite and superior of their species. They answer only to the Commanders and Alphas and are to be utterly loyal and devoted to the defence of their territory. This is a title only for the finest and most trustworthy. |
Trainers: Trainers are required to keep those of the Rank-and-File in perpetual readiness for battle, in order for the territory to maintain a supreme fighting force. They themselves must be physically fit and experienced in the ways of the warrior. |
Rank-and-File: Creatures of the Rank-and-File are those able to participate in battle. They are to take commands unconditionally from those above them and are often to the primary force used for battle. |
Trainees: These are commonly recently accepted members or younger creatures who have yet to prove themselves, though some may never advance past this point. They are unable to participate in battle. |
Awaiting Acceptance: Those awaiting acceptance are not yet members of the territory. They may do as they please and fight in battles if they so wish. |
Exiled: To be exiled is perhaps the most terrible form of punishment. Exiled creatures may never return to the pack. |
Challenging to obtain a higher rank may occur at Thundercove. If the rank is open, first ask your alphas, superiors, or fellows, then ask the Protectors in their den. |
