For My Grandmother
She was trapped in a useless body, not allowed to so much as walk, her spirit was dieing and I knew even though she tried to hide it. Then she finally let go or atleast tried to let go but her family stoped her. But could you blame them? They didn't understand; is it possible to understand? Of course not! But we pretend to anyway because this society is to stupid to realize that. The human race is too ignorant to realize that we don't know everything and we can't understand! Humans are suposed to be the smartest of all creatures but they are not. If they think that they can understand things they can't and never will, how can they be? Think before you try to understand something that is not possible for you to understand and the human race itself can't understand.
Note: The reason this poem is titled " For My Grandmother" is because this poem is about the last few years of my grandmother's life and the things she taught me. I wrote it for her after she died.
