Once upon a time, in a far away land.There live a girl named Alicia.She is the most beautiful and kind girl in the land.She has long silky black hair and a pair of clear blue eyes that shine like stars in the sky.She has a perfect bodyline with slim waist and slender legs. No matter how beautiful Alicia is, only the people in her village knows as she never leave the village.Nobody from other village or towns or the capital knew of the existence of Alicia.This is because the village is located in a very secretive place.Only 8 families lived in that village.Alicia is 17 years old, she lived with her parents who suddenly appeared in the village 18 years ago.

18 years ago...

In the middle of the night, a couple finally reached their destination,a village which they heard about from a legend.The village with only 7 families, a small and peaceful village.The village was believed to be created by the 7 fairies and each created one family.The villagers were believed to be fairyfolks.According to the legend, the village is created to aid a couple from the royal family. The couple could not believed their eyes when they saw the village.So, the legend was true!After months of hiding, they finally found the village, never had they thought that the royal couple in the legend would be them.They were lucky to have found the map in the book which contains the legend on the village.They entered the village and at the same moment, 7 fairies appeared in front of them.

"You have finally arrived, my dear prince and princess"said the red fairy.

"How do you know that we are coming?"the prince asked.

"We knew it long ago that this will happen when the two friends spilt."said the blue fairy thinking of the past.

"What two friends??"the prince asked again.

"You need not know too much, from now on you will live here and rest assured that you will be safe from your fathers."said the yellow fairy.

So from that day onwards, the couple settled down in the village and soon they have a daughter, which is Alicia...

Time passes quickly, soon 18 years passed. Charles and Laura have long settled down in the village. They have long forgotten that they were of royal blood. They were just like anyone now, leading a simple life with their precious daughter. Although they were very happy these years, something kept bothering them, the birthmark that Alicia have on her shoulder. The mark was a flower, a mark which only a true princess have.

According to legends,there are only two princesses who have this mark. The two princesses were from two different lands, which means Alicia was the true princess of Meridian, the land she was born in. From what the 7 fairies told them, Alicia have to leave the village one week after her seventeen birthday to embark on a very long journey. They were sad as Alicia's seventeen birthday is approaching which means they have to part with their daughter until the end of her journey. They knew it was a really long journey, from what they heard from the fairies, the true princess of each land has to go on a journey where they will go through many ordeals. The journey will end when the princess found the true prince from another land.

They believe their daughter could finish the journey, as Alicia is a brave and capable girl. With the 7 fairies as her teachers, they knew that Alicia will have no difficulties during the journey. The only problem now is how are they going to tell Alicia all these.

"Don't worry, we will tell Alicia about it."the orange fairy said.

"Alicia is a girl who is eager to accept challenges, she won't mind parting with the two of you as long as she knows that she will be reunited with her parents at the end of the journey."said the blue fairy.

"Alicia has always wanted to go out and explore the world, and her chance has come, she will accept it."the red fairy said.

"Don't worry,Alicia will be safe during her journey, we will make sure that she will come to no harm."the yellow fairy said, knewing what was on the mind of Laura.

"I think that it will be better if both of us tell her about it,"said charles.

"We will do it after her birthday party,"said Laura.

"Ok, it already late, we better leave,"the fairies said.

With that, the fairies left the house of the couple. They loved Alicia as much as her parents, but they knew that Alicia has to go on the journey no matter what happen.

Alicia stand in front of her mirror, she was trying out the gown which the fairies made her.The gown is purple in colour with silver linings and it suits Alicia perfectly.She will be wearing this gown for her birthday party the next evening.She sat down and wonder.She wonder what wish should she make this year.For the past years, her wish always come true.She knew it was because of the fairies' magic.Alicia had a wish that she always wanted it to come true.She knew it will not be granted as she is too young.She decided to make this wish this year as there is a slight chance for it to be granted.It is because she is going to be seventeen, a lady no longer a young girl.

Meanwhile,the fairies and some villagers are in the great hall of the village.They were preparing for Alicia's party next evening.The rest of the villagers are at home preparing the presents for Alicia.They knew that Alicia is leaving the village soon, every present they are giving her will be useful to her during her journey.

Next evening

Everyone in the village gathered at the Great Hall to celebrate Alicia's birthday.Alicia was more beautiful the usual in that gown.She was standing in front of a beautiful cake baked by the yellow fairy.The villagers sang a special song to the music the fairies played for Alicia.It was a beautiful song composed specially for Alicia.Alicia loved the song and she could sing it as beautifully as anyone after listening to it once.

Soon, it was time for Alicia to blow the candles and make her wish.Alicia took a deep breath and blow the candles.

"My wish this year is to be able to go out of the village to explore the world and have my own adventures,"Alicia said loudly.

Everyone except for the fairies gasped.They were surprised at what they heard but this would be even better.In this way, Alicia would think that her wish came true when her parents tell her about the journey.

After Alicia made her wish, they continued with the party.The fairies played the instruments and the others danced.Alicia listened to the music for a minute and she started dancing to the music, solo.Everyone stopped and watched her dance.Alicia was the most graceful dancer in Meridian and she has a beautiful voice too.

Soon the party ended and everyone made their way home.Alicia and her parents went home with the fairies.Once she reached,Alicia sat down almost immediately and though she was tired, she looked extremely happy.Suddenly, she stood up and hug her parents and the fairies.

"I have had a great time today, thanks for everything!"Alicia said happily.

"I am glad that you enjoyed the party today my dear, now it is time for your surprise!"Laura said secretively with a smile.

"A surprise?What is it?Tell me, quick!"Alicia said curiously.

"Sit down first Alicia, the fairies will tell you all about it."said Charles.

Alicia sat down and looked at the faries.

"So, what is it?"she asked, still looking at them.

"Your wish is granted, you will be going on a journey tomorrow."the pink fairy answered.

"Oh God!!My wish is really granted?I knew it!I knew it will be granted!"Alicia exclaimed.

"Everything needed for the journey has been prepared,you will start tomorrow and also you will have to complete a mission we give you.It will be the objective of the journey."said the yellow fairy.

"It will not going to be easy, you will have to use the magic we taught you along the journey."said the blue fairy.

"You will have a companion for the journey, so don't worry too much about it."said the orange fairy.

"You will meet your companion for the journey at the borders of the forest."the green fairy added.

Remember, you are destined to go on this journey and it will be a long one."said the red fariy.

"How long will the journey be?Can't i come home when i want to?"Alicia asked.

"No, my dear.You'll have to complete the mission first before you are able to come back to the village." the violet fairy answered.

"What is that mission?"Alicia asked.

"The forest fairy will explain everything to you once you meet her.Have an early night, you have to wake up early for the journey.Now, no more questions, you will know every detail once you meet the forest fairy."the green fairy answered.
