I have no personal interest in debating the existance of divinity, spiritualism, and the Gods and Goddesses. When I've heard people say that there is no God/Goddess and challenge someone else to "prove" it, it simply demonstrates their own ignorance. I don't mean to sound as if I look down on someone like this because I don't. In fact I rather sympathize with their fear. For whatever reason this person is afraid (or even terrified) to face spiritual divinity because it means they may have to face or accept something else in their lives that they fear. This fear generally becomes translated from that which they fear to any sense of spirituality, so that they don't have to face or even think about facing their own demon. I know what that feels like and I sympathize. So when you see someone like this, please show them pity and patience. And don't argue with or debate someone who is in this state of denial because that almost always leads them to draw lines against you and you end up doing them a great injustice by feeding into their opposition of facing this and growing. If you care, just fill yourself with a soft and great sense of joy and say, "Bless you and good luck." They are going to need it. |
