These are my favorites - all of which are H/D (Sorry, I can't handle any other Harry or Draco pairing). There is really no order of importance - other than the first fic listed is my alltime favorite!

Rating - NC-17
Summary: This is my alltime favorite fic. I think I've read it at least a dozen times! The characterization of Harry is very harsh, but everything will make sense in the end - I promise. Things change and, 3 years after Hogwarts, Harry Potter is no more our Golden Boy, but an appreciated muggle writer. And one night he meets somebody from his past...

Rating - R
Summary: Draco had no idea that the repercussions of stealing Potter's journal and shoving it down the back of his trousers would be so extreme. Featuring nefarious plots, the mating rituals of Slytherins, double-crossing spells, Ron/Pansy, and Draco/Harry.

"Draco Malfoy and his Unknown Fate" by Jitterbug
Rating - R
Summary: Due to a difference of opinion, Draco is disinherited by his father. He now has to make his own way in life. I also suggest you read the sequel: "Draco Malfoy and his Happily Ever After". It can be found on the author's profile page at ff.net.

Rating - R
Summary: Great fic, with a twist! Warning: Very Dark! Would you kill for it? Die for it? What would you do for love and would it do in return? Would it save you from yourself? There is also a sequel that is a WIP.

"Transfigurations" by Resonant
Rating - NC-17
Summary - Harry is called back to Hogwarts to teach. He is surprised to find one of his best friends being friendly with the enemy. Spellmines, student chair superstitions, and "meaningless" sex, this is a great fic to read over and over! H/D. Warning: Character death (not a main character, though).

Rating - NC-17
Summary - Is there truth to be found in legends? How much are people controlled by legends, both mundane and otherwise? A story of stone hearts hidden away, demonic pacts, toga parties, and unlikely liaisons between living myths.

"The Silver Chain" by Dahlia
Rating - NC-17 (Very graphic)
Summary - Harry and Draco find Quidditch isn't the only source of thrills on the games pitch. But is Voldemort trying to manipulate their passion for his own evil purposes? Meanwhile, everyone wants get laid at the Yule Ball. Anything goes in Hogwarts' seventh year - it's a hotbed of crazed lust and depravity. Pairings - H/D; H/H; H/R; H/Lavender; D/Pansy; Voldemort/???? (I' m not telling, read it and find out) and others. Rated NC-17 for good reason - Harry and Draco are going to get it on in every single chapter. Be warned. Also, make sure to read the sequel, "Power Play," (This is linked to from the address below) it's just as wonderful as the first! She is currently working on the third of the trilogy as well!

"Unthinkable Thoughts" by Aidan Lynch
Rating - R
Summary - When Harry and Draco first met in Madam Malkin's robe shop, neither of them could have anticipated how much loathing and mistrust would follow. But one day in their fifth year something happens which forces Harry and Draco to reconsider exactly what such abhorrence is founded on. Little by little, each of them is overwhelmed by Unthinkable Thoughts, and they begin the voyage that takes them from their safe harbours of deep suspicion well out into uncharted waters. And the more they discover, the more the realise that things can never be the same again!

"It's Only Love, What is Everyone So Afraid Of?" and "What it Means" by Reika
Rating - R
Summary - Sometimes the world just isn't the place we want it to be..but we can try..right? This fic is divided into two parts: Hogwarts and Post Hogwarts. Both are rather angsty. Make sure to read the second part: What it Means. It really jerks at the ol' heart strings!

"Saturn Returns" by Azhure
Rating - R
Summary - On the eve of his thirtieth birthday, Harry Potter is facing his Saturn Return. Does he continue to live the lie of the past fourteen years, or does he confront the one person who could help him to move on with his life? This is a fic that really touched me personally (I myself am going through my Saturn's Return). Very well written, with just enough H/D love - Azhure WILL NOT disappoint! There is also a sequal to this called "Black Magic", a fic delving into the adventures of Draco and Harry's children as they travel back in time and meet their fathers as teenagers.

"The Golden Snitch" by Michael Serpent
Rating - R
Summary - Harry and Draco trying to get the upper hand of each other, mentally and physically. Some roughness and some tenderness. And some weirdness... And Voldemort drinking mint tea.

"Painters' Primer" by Shatterglass
Rating - R
Summary - Harry falls off horses, Draco gets covered in paint, the author takes herself entirely too seriously. We all love a good artist!Draco fic, n'est pas?

"Invisible to See" by Pandarus
Rating - not listed, but probably R
Summary - After his mother's murder, Draco has a change of heart. The only problem is, nobody believes him - making him "invisible to see". Just begin on the page linked to below and use the green "next" arrows to move from one chapter to the next. This is forty chapters long (completed) and a really great read, so be prepared to spend some time stuck in your chair!

"Some Moment", "Foolish Tears", and "Golden Daffodils" by Calmardaa
Rating - NC-17
Summary - I believe the only place to find this trilogy in its entirety is on Michael Serpent's Rec page (Michael, such a dear!). I simply cannot praise Calmardaa's writing enough. Her words grab you by the throat and the heartstrings all at once. The triliogy is not only dark at points, but surprisingly warm. The only definition I can give is: "intense". Read it!!!!!

"What Separates Us" by Amy
Rating - NC-17
Summary - At first it seems to be your typical "accidental love potion-fic", but it's not. It's so much more! There is a natural progression to Harry and Draco's relationship that makes it seem so real! I sat and read this fic in one evening, only leaving when nature called, LOL. I'm sure you will do the same once you start reading it!

"Left My Heart" by Emma Grant
Rating - NC-17
Summary - Harry goes to San Francisco in search of a missing Draco Malfoy. There he finds a completely different Draco Malfoy from the one he knew at Hogwart's. I never cared much for Slut!Draco fics, until I read this. This is a definite must read. It has all the requirements of a good fic: lots of sexual tension, dynamic characters, and an incredibly stunning ending!

Summary - When Draco turns to the side of the light, Harry is made his summoneo. Things heat up quickly.

Rating - PG-13
Summary - Harry wakes up with a throbbing head, but he soon realizes that a headache is the last thing he has to worry about. Suddenly, he is thrown into a world that is much like his own -- yet at the same time very different. Visions, Voldemort, potions, poison, fun, adventure and romance follow. And what part does Draco play in it all?

Rating - R
Summary - Four years after getting out of Hogwarts, Harry lives alone in the Muggle world. He has turned his back on the magical world – until one day, when Draco Malfoy gets into a car crash before Harry’s eyes and ends up paralysed in a wheelchair. Not related to the plot of "Time Out of Place" at all.

Summary - This is a one-shot. I normally don't care for one-shots, but this is simply incredible - steamy and terrifying all at once!What will happen when Draco and Harry are forced to live together in a haunted house?

Summary - WIP Incredible fic - the tension between Harry and Draco is so thick, it's tangible! Harry needs to get away, and when he does, he meets Draco Malfoy ... who apparently died six years ago.
