Peter & Mary Hunter's MkIV Zodiac |
This car arrived at Timaru Motors in Timaru with the intention that it be owned by
Sir Basil Arthur but due to ill health was not required by him. It was then bought
by Robert Davidson Jnr of Davidson's Honey. It was used by the Davidson's as their car until about 1996 when it was left in the garage for the next 10 or so years until I bought it in July 2007. |
It has needed quite a lot of work to put it back on the road. These cars were a long
way ahead of their time coming out with 4 wheel independent suspension, disc
brakes on all four wheels. A v6 motor with the spare wheel in the front of the
car - an early attempt at an air bag perhaps. Peter Hunter. |
