Mustang
My grandfather gave my mother a Pinto for her graduation present. As soon as he got into the car, however, he refused to let her drive it. They brought it right back to the lot and decided on this Grabber Lime Mach 1 Mustang right off the showroom floor. For my seventeenth birthday I got my permit and began to experience the raw power a 351 Cleveland can make. By the end of that year my mother had a new four dour sedan and this beast was handed over to me. I had alot ahead of me. The car was in desperate need of a new carb, manifold, radiator, heads, exhaust, carpet, dash, and a set of brakes. And all I really knew how to do was a basic tune-up and oil change. With the help of some friends and a neighbor that owns over 30 Fords at various stages of restoration. I was soon alog the path of bringing this car back, and even better than it was the day it came off the line.
