JOURNAL SCORING

Journals are scored on a fairly simple basis: A (4.0), B (3.5), C (3.0), D (2.5), F (2.3 or below). If journals are more than 50% short of word count, they will not receive feedback; I’ll just credit the number of words generated (see course packet [“Page Counts and Word Counts”] if this is unclear to you). Recall that journals submitted late are penalized 20% each day; recall that journals are collected randomly.
