Create a Toulmin Model based on one of the four following
enthymemes on page 76: #3, #4, #5, or #6. Note that number six is not a
proposal claim; however, it appears to a be a value claim. Model should have
seven parts: the skeleton (claim, reason, and warrant) and the flesh (grounds,
backing, and the two rebuttals). Though you might feel most readers would
readily grant your warrant, still provide backing for it. Note that the more
you develop your grounds and backing, the more you’ll be able to generate
meaningful rebuttals. A qualifier—the eighth part of the model—isn’t necessary.
