SLIPKNOT!!! What further introduction is needed?  This interview was done backstage at a show in Texas by my friend Dawn (I gave her the questions to ask).  This explains the short answers and lack of detail.  So stop your bitchin and read on.  Its SLIPKNOT!!

Derek Ok, first of just tell me who is in the band, what they play, and how long you have been together
Sid: 0-sid-dj
       1-joey-drums
       2-paul-bass
       3-chris-percussions
       4-james-guitars
       5-craig-sampler
       6-shawn-percussions
       7-mic-guitars
       8-corey-vocals

Derek: How did such a huge band form?
Sid: Well it wasn't really planned, it just happened.  Nine different layers of music combined.

Derek: How did you get on Road Runner Records?
Sid: Well we turned them down the first time, but they offered again and we knew that they were a good label for good music, and they liked us, and we ended up liking them.

Derek: Is there any one show that sticks out as being the craziest, most fucked up show you ever played?
Sid: Almost every show! ummm.. there has been a lot, a slipknot show is crazy itslef!  Well we have blown out speakers, we have really dedicated fans, i have broken ribs, but we still keep going.  That is pretty crazy.

Derek: I go to a catholic school, and i had to go mass once, and the priest got up there and yelled at us.  He said masturbation was a sin.  I swear he actually said the word masturbation in front of the whole fucking school.  What do you think...is it a sin?
Sid: That is a natural thing, everyone's doin it but only some admit it, if he said that he definetly knows what he is talking about...

Derek: What do you have out for releases, including demo's and whatnot?
Sid: We have the first slipknot album, but it is not all of the members now... we re-released this album and had to take off "purity" but added new tracks.  We are gonna be featured on a soundtrack, and i really can't keep up with everything that is coming, I know people have imports and live shit, but they do that and we cant really control it.

Derek: Do you guys hang out together outside of the band? What do you do outside of music?
Sid: Yeah when we are home, we practice and shit like that.  We all kinda do our own thing.  I DJ underground music and raves and stuff, i can't speak to much for the others.

Derek: Whats the best tour you have been on? What bands do you like playing with the most?
Sid: Wow, every tour has its own stories, they are all experiences, but i have got to say Ozzfest! That shit was pure and raw.

Derek: Anything you want to say to all those people reading this?
Sid: We fucking love you and if you come to a slipknot show, be prepared for a show! FUCK TICKETMASTER!! people=shit
